[CSIDE] The ChoiceScript IDE (v1.3.3 Now Available — 05/09/2022)

Please DM me with more information (the exact error message, your platform and what you mean by “don’t work” - i.e. do you get a different error message, do you see the original behaviour etc).

I got it to work man
Thank you

Aw shoot, the new commands like *save_checkpoint and *if_id get reported as an invalid command in the Quicktest.

Updating ChoiceScript in CSIDE is a manual process! Please bear with me, I’ll get it updated as soon as I practically can (ifid, I think should already be there in the latest version? But save_checkpoint certainly isn’t).

Yes, the current version recognizes ifid.

Hello! Is it possible to increase the size of the text on the web version?

You can change the editor’s font size in the settings. You can also zoom the browser window in if you want a larger UI.

I think it’s been pointed out before but yeah, if you click on “latest” or “developmental”, this pops up! (windows 11)

Connection Error
Failed to obtain update data from server. write EPROTO 101057795:error:04091068:rsa
101057795:error:1408D07B:SSL routines:ssl3_get_key_exchange:bad

Please refer to the guide in the PM I’ve invited you too.

Apologies to any folks waiting on the latest changes to ChoiceScript to hit CSIDE – I’m going through some personal stuff right now, so it’s been difficult to carve out the time necessary to make the update. I’ll get to it as soon as I reasonably can.

Hi! Hope this is the right place- when I try and use the Web version of CSide, it’s giving me an error reading ‘Dropbox Access Token Failure’. It seems to work fine on iOS, not on my PC. Any ideas? Thanks!

Make sure you don’t have an access key in your URL.
Just use ChoiceScript IDE.

You can also try an incognito browser window.

Hi, is there a way to run quicktest and randomtest in the web version? The option only pops up in the right-click menu of the desktop version for me.

The web version doesn’t currently support the automated tests I’m afraid.

I have the same issue on windows 11, CSIDE is stuck at v1.0.1.

Also, is it possible to increase the font size more than 16 on the desktop version?

I’ve added you to the workaround thread but I should note I haven’t tested CSIDE on Windows 11.

I don’t believe any of the currently live versions support a greater font size, but I’ve increased the restriction for a future release (date very TBD).

I think I had the same issue until I used CSIDE’s built-in update function

Can you fully export the entire CSIDE folder into a different file?

I mean… If you want to move the actual files, you might need to manually copy the entire folder to a new location???
