šŸ‘€ One-hundred percent! šŸ˜… Weā€™ve finished a draft. Itā€™s not exactly where I want it to be, but it should suffice for now. I expect the final revised chapter to be near doubled the length, unless some of the cut stuff doesnā€™t make it back in. I may have gotten a little convoluted with the coding in this one, we shall see! ---

I think this novel is rather ambitious, it tries to be many things at once. It feels like a dystopian-modern-punk setting with magic on top and I donā€™t think it fits it well, there is little resemblance to the real world or the time period, too many things going on at once. The way text is formatted and the overall environment suggests a more modern era than an older one and the pacing is rushed, i donā€™t feel connected to any of the characters. Oh and it wouldnā€™t be until 1940s~ that practical choppers would be actually used properly. I do understand itā€™s a fictional setting of course but i do not see the appeal because there are too many things going on at once. As always, youā€™re the author and itā€™s up to you what you do, this is just my view on this, whatever its worth, thereā€™s no malice in my reply. ---

Look, Iā€™m a reviewer and beta tester, and Iā€™m the last person youā€™ll ever hear saying all feedback has to be positive. But if what you have to say basically boils down to ā€œno offense, but the fundamental premise is hopelessly misconceived,ā€ thatā€™s when ā€œdonā€™t like, donā€™t readā€ applies. ---
