@Brian, the same offer goes for you. I know you’ve popped into the thread many times giving feedback or advice. Again, just let me know. And I’m editing a scene today that features Uni. It’s just so hard to juggle all the main characters. Somehow my favorite southern belle with crappy powers and party horn on her head was lost in the shuffle.
@Razgriz, I need to use that quote for my still-in-development CCH website. “If the Crook fangirls have their way he’ll just take his pants off.” Good stuff. And wait…are you implying there will be unresolved issues with Crook and MCs who try to pursue him romantically?? Noooooooo
@mika_ce, I could feed Shine and Combat Wombat to the rioters but I doubt they’d be satisfied with those options.
is now designing Crook and Dirty Girl t-shirts in my head since they lend themselves to so many little sayings like “Crook stole my heart” and “Yeah I’m dirty!”

Crook is really frustrating me 
I’m not trying to get IN his pants I just want the pants! It would go with my mask perfectly!
So what new things are in the beta?
I am not even sure if I am in the beta testing wave but if I’m not would it still be possible to let me beta test the game cause it is so cool.

Anytime! And yeah, with so many characters in there I can only imagine how difficult it is for you to give them all screen time. While everyone else is focused on Crook, I’ll still be on the Unicorn hype train!

I’m ready to call it right now. Wombat will be the breakout character in the third installment of the series.
He’s the hero the community college deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we’ll leave him out of our favorite heroes list. Because he can take it. Because he’s not our hero. He’s a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Combat Wombat.

@seabean, I’m glad you’re digging it. Hopefully it will be out late this spring or early summer at the latest! First, I have to get the finished game to Jason, which should be the end of February.
@vampierkid222, glad to hear it! I definitely relate some to Mob. Just because a person develops abilities, it doesn’t mean he/she would automatically become some combat-obsessed badass.

@CaballeroDeAndromeda, One of the best posts in the thread! I’m not sure he’s our silent guardian thinks of how creaky Wombat’s armor is but he’s definitely definitely the hero the college deserves! And who knows…maybe he’ll get around to WOMBAT 2.0 and then it’s on. And your epic little description reminds me of the Community episode where Abed describes Batman. It’s worth looking up on youtube.

Anyway i can’t wait to buy it when it’s realised and hopefully i will be able to get in Crook’s pants then

Can’t wait for the closed beta. Crook and Hedonist are my favorite characters so far - yes, I want to steal ALL THE SECRETS and be a badass stealth hero, but I definitely want to see a lot more of them.

Well, not even Iron Man’s first suit was all that great. If I remember correctly (and I don’t) Iron Man’s first suit fell apart after using it only ONCE! So, there’s that…
Oh, it’s already on. (Thinks of a way to spin Wombat’s scenes to make him look like a badass…) It’s no secret to any of us readers or to the people involved in Speck’s Heroes Among Us program, as a matter of fact, that Wombat is the only student who fought Hedonist one-on-one, went toe-to-toe, took a hit from him, finally stood up and walked away. (It takes a little bit of imagination and re-framing to see things this way.) How many students can say they have done that? Not even Crook’s pants have been able to accomplish that. BOOM! I DREW FIRST BLOOD! I’m ready for the Crook/Crook’s pants contingency to descend upon me. 
(It’s weird, I didn’t even liked Wombat until I made that post. The lies we tell ourselves…)

I agree, I was enchanted by the whole new years’ party hat/horn she has going on. She’s the L.I. I most frequently pursue. While we’re on the subject of characters that don’t get enough love, can you point her (Uni) out to me in the image that appears right at the beginning of the demo? I don’t know if it’s the coloring but I can’t tell which one is she…
I get the feeling I’ll have to put the cowl once again but this time for Uni…
