Community College Hero: Releasing Soon

@RedRoses Sorry, I wish there was but at the moment I barely have an online presence.

But speaking of a fancast, I’m just going to leave these here… (A lot of them thanks to my awesome friend, @Caligae)

Crook: Chris Pratt
Tress: Uhhh, I sort of have a lot for her. In no particular order: Holland Roden, Molly C. Quinn, Hayley Williams, Sophie Turner, maybe even Emma Stone?
Mob: I don’t really have anyone for him aside from the mental image of something of a latino Andrew Garfield. …Maybe Tyler Posey. If they had a love child together.
Origami: Ellen Wong
Dirty Girl: Hayley Kiyoko is definitely how I see her but I think Aubrey Plaza could pull off the look.
Stunner: Devin Shepherd
Uni: Natalie Dormer, Emily Kinney, Kirsten Prout

Aside from a vague image, I don’t really have anyone for Stoic or C-Wom.

@HornHeadFan I would love to do some fan art for this! Lol. So far my favorite character is definitely Dirty Girl

Well I was going to try to imbed an image from Drop Box but those sneaky bastards don’t let you do that anymore apparently.

Horn if I draw stickfigures on Microsoft’s paint program will it be accepted?

If Natalie Dormer could pull off a U.S. southern accident, I would wholeheartedly cast her as Uni. I’ve had a thing for her ever since The Tudors.

@HoZay, welcome aboard and draw anything you’d like. I think DG is fun to draw because she doesn’t have a set uniform.

@anon48296871, how about we use the “it must be objectively better than my 5-year-old daughter’s scribblings” for a standard?

Haha your comment reminded of a line from the sitcom Community where the Dean said that student records were kept on a Microsoft Paint file.

Okay, that’s going on my list of top ten favourite typos.

At least, I hope it’s a typo or you have quite the demands when casting people.

Lol for the record I wish no harm to Ms. Dormer. Stupid iPhone.

so show of hands who is gonna commission some fan art?

Haha, honestly I was more concerned for southern U.S.

hey can we get a sheet of character descriptions for the fanart?

Here is a rough sketch of Monstrosity X, a member of the Diabolical Dozen that has obviously not appeared yet. I’m sure I’ll change my mind about what he looks like down the line, but I definitely want a monstrous, non-human character in the fray.

@Roslyn_samalt06,

Since you asked,

Mob - messy hair, glasses over his mask, blue bodysuit with brown trim, skinny but ripped. Possibly Latino. He’s thoughtful.

Stunner - bulky and strong. Bald head, dark skin, golden armor with visor. Possibly African American. He’s aggressive.

Crook - older than the others. Unshaven. Green cloak with hood. Dark brown eyes and constant smirk. He’s sneaky.

Combat Wombat - friendly face with big cheeks and small nose. Possibly Asian American. Wears brownish steampunkish huge armor. He’s awkward.

Uni - blonde, tan and confident. Muscular and fast. Pink spandex top and yellow shorts. Or maybe it’s the other way around. She’s manipulative.

Tress - slim and graceful. Green bodysuit with tasteful cutouts down the arms and legs. Hair is her focal point. She could be drawn with hair whipping all around her, perhaps 10-20 feet long. She’s ambitious.

Stoic - dark hair, dark eyes. She says she’s of Middle Eastern descent. Wears a grey sweatsuit. Short and moves slowly. She’s…well, stoic.

Dirty Girl - wears different punk outfits. Her hair color changes constantly. But she always wears her aviator goggles and cap. Her body type is normal. She’s rebellious.

Origami - young, slender, and talkative. She wears white robes that visually make it look like she effortlessly transforms into her “paper” form. She’s youthfully optimistic.

Other characters include Dean Tolly, Hedonist, Downfall, Nil, Sandy McCormick, Contrarian, Dick Rycliff, Tammy Tolliver, Rain and Shine, Spiked Gladiator, and others who haven’t appeared yet including Mega Cat, Streetsmart, Booksmart, and various members of Savior School and Prestige, along with all twelve of the Diabolical Dozen.

Don’t know if this question has already been asked or not, but how long is this story going to be? Word/timeline wise? The prologue mentions two years, but will we get to play those full years or will there be like a huge time skip?

Really curious because I’m so looking forward to this one out of all the up and comming ones ^-^

I love when there’s a question or comment I can address during my lunch break! Who needs a hour to eat?? Anyway…

@WaterOracle, I don’t plan on skipping any large chunks of time but this will likely be a trilogy. Part I will cover the fist semester. Part II the second semester. And Part III will cover the entire second/last year. Stakes will get higher in each Part. At least that is the plan right now.

Each Part will be broken into “issues” with a piece of art at the beginning of each Issue somewhat mimicking comic book covers. Part I should consist of 4 Issues.

Greetings Program!
So you plan on making two games?? Or is it going to be one game with two parts? Hey maybe you could have te students go on vacation!

HornHead already said he’s making this a trilogy.

Update is posted. It doesn’t extend the story very much lengthwise, but it does include the entire press conference scene and the first in-person appearance of a major character.

Also included are:
updated archtypes
updates on relationships and how they are calculated (no longer fairmath)
new Uni date,
more Jacob scenes,
persona variables with lots of added dialogue options
more backstory addressing how these heroes and villains apparently gained their powers
and much much more!

It passed randomtest until randomtest just stopped running and froze up (I’m not sure if you get an “end” message on that program) and I played through it myself twice with no game-ending errors, but please tell me any error messages you receive and I’ll try to address them ASAP.

Also, since I’ve recalculated the relationship math, please tell me if characters don’t respond as they probably should. As always, it is helpful if you point out typos, continuity errors, etc.

Thanks!

End Of Line

So far:

When choosing your archetype, ‘Soldier’ is misspelled as ‘Solider’.

As a Detective, the intermediate stealth equipment doesn’t show up correctly (it displays as ‘$stealth2’, I believe).

As an Acrobat, checking Hero Stats gives a ‘line 74: non-existent command ‘advanced’’ error. The screen then cuts off after ‘intermediate movement’.

I also think it’s silly for a Detective to have to change clothes in the middle of the game…

The following paragraph should be split up, for those who went to the restaurant:

"And what about the brown wig you spotted at the scene? Does that mean the authorities have the wrong description of the bomber? Class registration is surprisingly simple and efficient. Four courses are required for the fall semester. You look down at your class schedule sheet in your hand. The four courses and their professors are listed on your sheet: "
