Asking Stoic’s advice was the only way I was ever able to win that fight. My sniper always fails at anything involving ranged combat, I’ve noticed (other than shooting Origami)…
For the clown girl’s code name, how about Hijinks? It’s what clowns are known for, after all…
I’m working on the mechanics tonight. I’m not sure why your sniper has had so much difficulty but it’s possible I miscalculated some of the math. But no matter! Soon it will be fixed with a much simpler number system for attacks.
And I like everyone’s clown girl names. I’ll pick one and maybe have her pop up again in a different scene where she’s not jobbing to the MC.
Seriously the only ways to lose to Clown Girl as currently coded is if a MC with a “weakling” weakness tries to punch her or if a MC with an “afraid to get hit” weakness tries to tackle her. You can’t have both weaknesses, so any MC can get past her. She is such a jobber.
I have an idea for clown girl: how about… Madame Crazy? Lol anyway love the story so far!! Keep up the great work!!

Maybe the clown girl is a living seltzer bottle, that can sorta extract the water from her own body and spit it out in a continous stream? It wouldn’t be powerful, but it wouldn’t be useless and it would have a built in limiter in that she could easily dry herself out if she used it too much.
@HornHeadFan No problem! It was pretty easy to do as I read through. Interesting to know about the “cake” line.
While I did point out everything I saw, there are plenty of scenes I didn’t see, like Tress’ and Stunner’s early scenes, the Breaking People and Things and Basics of Defence study groups, all of the “date” scenes.
Actually, now that I think about it, I never played the Rain and Shine segment. Did that get moved?
She was probably expecting everyone to cower in fear of a clown. Understandable
@OtherGrimm I kind of like the nose-honking thing. Maybe expand it so that her power is that she can make wacky sound effects with her body. Like, tripping over actually makes sound effects like when someone in Looney Tunes trips over. It’s just about completely useless but also fits her name and motif.
Who ever thought clowns were cool and that children liked them? It simply boggles the mind,when I was able to form cognitive thoughts ,that I can remember was probably like six or seven,on things clowns were always the creepy thing parents some time bought for a day when they were mad at their kid,cause they’d go inside and leave the kid with the clown and wouldn’t come out till the kid was crying. So for the longest time I thought clowns were punishments

After a couple of playthroughs, I’ve noticed that you seem to have removed something that I really liked about the game (though I suppose it could have been a bug in the first place). Earlier, I could select that my character wasn’t ‘looking for romance’, and while I wouldn’t get to flirt with people, it was still possible for me to HAVE a romance by having the other character ask me out. That doesn’t happen anymore, as far as I can tell. I liked having the option to sort of change my mind later on if someone else initiated something, or possibly ‘make an exception’ for a classmate who wasn’t my preferred gender.
Was that just a bug initially, or was it unintentionally removed?
