@Beezlebub Hornheadfan has said it is possible thanks to stoic’s surprising fandom but no one knows for sure just yet. just wait and see, It will be a wonderful surprise if it happens, and if not then stoic will still be interesting and enjoyable as a friendship path, or villian if Hornheadfan decides to be evil and betray our trust. >:) Actually forget I wrote anything. :-SS
I’d like to quickly come here and say that I absolutely adore this game. I’ve been here since…hm, well, since a few months ago, but I’ve only been lurking because I didn’t feel like creating an account. With that being said, I’d like to say, Hornheadfan, that you are the reason why I even created an account in the first place. This may seem sorta heavy, but your game is my motivation to actually attempt to get active in these forums, and maybe even make my own game/story one day, so thank you for that.
On to the actual game. I’ll just say, first-hand, that the close-combat bruiser is how I first played the game. You know - fast, strong, and brutally efficient. I just love smashing in faces, and whenever I play, I always picture myself as Alex Mercer - at least, appearance wise, because I always choose the casual hoodie and jeans for my ‘costume’. For this character, I can’t wait for the new update to give more love for the bruiser class. Hopefully w can begin breaking arms and legs. Maybe even some cool curb stomps. I’d also enjoy having a giant warhammer, or sludgehammer, as a weapon, but that’s wishful thinking. 
My other favorite class, tying with the bruiser, is the pure sneaky sneaky class. I am currently failing so hard at remembering the names, so sorry about that. I enjoy it so much - especially since, in this character, I plan on my RO option being Stoic - if that’s even possible - because my character is so silent, mysterious, and, well, cold/stoic. What I really want is a class that can sneak around, be analyzing, move fast, but uses swift melee weapons along with this. Maybe some escrima sticks, or even daggers or a katana; which is wishful thinking, I know I know. It’s not insured and stuff. But a boy can dream, right?
With all of that being said, I really love this game, and I hope that you continue it faithfully. My toe has been broken recently in my vacation, so I’m stuck in bed, with a TV and a laptop. This story has been keeping me entertained for quite a while.
@Razgriz, well I survived. I don’t see how people raising 3, 4 or 5 kids retain their sanity. I played referee/punching bag and it was pretty draining. They are all good kiddos but the energy levels exponentially rise in the company of other playmates. I will have a few hours of writing time tonight after dinner. Woohoo!
@Crigley13, well in the version that is still posted, I think if you take a dive for her and then join her “not on either side” group, you get some scenes with her. I’m not sure whether or not I’ll keep her as romantic interest in the update though.
@StarWarsMaster, yeah I’ve thought a lot about having interior artwork to give it a more comic booky vibe, but the drawbacks are obvious: huge costs, greatly increased app size (which some folks view as a negative), annoying readers who like a more “pure text” experience, and deviating more from the traditional CoG formula, which I’m really not trying to do.
@Beezlebub, yes what @anyhelpbob said. I can’t give too many payouts in Part 1.
@quan499, your post was so nice that I showed it to my wife. It is very reassuring to me to know that folks, including ‘lurkers’ are keeping interest in CCH. And yes, katana and daggers probably won’t be in any MC’s future because of the liability issues you point out, but who knows, perhaps later Parts will have the characters traveling to less restrictive environments? Oh and I hope your toe gets better.
Crap I had hoped my dreams of becoming a samurai batman were coming true

@HornHeadFan, Thank you! Yeah, I wasn’t expecting the katana and daggers to work out either, heh, but I felt inspiration from the ninja in the beginning! He sound like a cool guy already, and he only had one cameo, haha. Can’t wait to learn more about those guys.
Also, this is addressed to everyone, but is there a way to win the Capture of The Flag as a bruiser/butt-kicker? I want to win it, so that I can be best buds with Stunner, and we can both began lifting weights and crushing heads together, as partners~!

Incredibly fun and well written. I only have a minor problem: during the hedonist grading thing, I wish we would have the option of “you misunderstood me” when we were agreeing with him. It made us seem like we were really interested in him, even if we weren’t.
@quan499 Nope. Only ways to win are to be fast, stealthy, or to attack from a distance. Bruiser isn’t good enough to succeed at any of those, unless something changed recently. It was a major gripe I had earlier - the roles are currently very unbalanced, with Bruiser being the weakest.
@OtherGrimm, Ah, I see. From what I read a page or two ago, he’s going to be giving the Bruiser a bit more love, so hopefully we can lunge from our spot and sort of tackle slam Origami or Crook, heh. I certainly see myself staying as a Bruiser for the majority of the game, however. I just really like the thought of punching and kicking faces in.
Just thought I say: Uni is a important romance because she is the only middle ground character that can be romanced right now
@quan499 Yeah, I believe the plan is to balance things out, but I’m not sure it’s been changed yet. I haven’t played the newest update yet, though.
@undead, I don’t really like Uni, to be honest. She just seems a bit…mentally and physically lacking? Like a cheerleader I guess.
@OtherGrimm, I wasn’t aware that he updated recently. I just went through the game again, on a speedrun, and I didn’t see anything different pertaining to the Bruiser.
@quan I THINK it was updated recently, anyway, but it may have just been a ‘this is what the next update will be’ announcement. I thought it was both.
…It does kinda feel like I haven’t contributed much except for that one complaint, so I should probably make another comment so @HornHeadFan doesn’t think I hate the game. ^_^;
One thing that I was pleasantly surprised about was that saying I ‘wasn’t looking for romance’ didn’t lock me out of actually romancing people. I didn’t get the flirty options with anyone, but I was still able to agree on a date when Mob asked me out. I like that I can still HAVE a romance, even though it wasn’t originally a consideration for my character.
On the topic of ROs, Mob and Stoic are the two I’d like to see most, though a Combat Wombat romance could be interesting, too. Ideally, all of our classmates would be romance options, but I understand that would be a lot of work…
Heh, yeah, Stoic is my main ‘interest’ if you will, but it’s probably going to be attempted with my stealthy character, rather than my bruiser. Bruiser-wise, I’ll probably go with Tress.
I can’t even consider Dirty Girl, since she is apparently a druggie, and I wouldn’t want to get, like, lung cancer or some other disease; no offense to anyone of course! xD
Oddly enough Stoic is the one I’m most interested in as well (Sorry Tress!)
I also find Stoic to be far more interesting then the other RO’s. namely because I have to work to even get a smile out of Stoic and she is far more professional then any of the other heroes at the school. Trying to figure out her power and put in scientific terms has also been a fun brain tease.
I think she once told my character that she couldn’t be…harmed by anything? So, in a scientific theory, I believe that her skin produces a fish-like oil that forces everything to slip away from her pores.
Pfft, I have no clue.

@quan499 thank you for the wonderful idea there. I mean wow now I’ll always imagine stoic in a fish suit. Is she described that way? no but it doesn’t matter. Beware the mysterious fish lady! :-)) also yessss praise the stoic. Soon she will be the single most important character ever, and @HornHeadFan will be forced to include more scenes of her apathy! muhahaha >:)
@anyhelpbob, She sleeps in a vat of fish oil before coming to school. It would only make sense, of course!
But yeah, after (****Spoilers, I think*****) Stoic created the plan, making it to where we could choose to lure the two water and sun manipulating peeps over to her form, I couldn’t help but chuckle when she bowled them over from simply standing there. I think that’s when I decided ‘pfft, she’s perfect for mah ninja’, although her pure apathy and stoicness to the situations with stunner and co. solidified it for me as well.
