I don’t mind, of the girls Tress is my favourite, with DG a close second. Kind of wish Origami was romanceable, she seems like a nice girl. Uni is a selfish little gal though.
You indeed have a great story here. I’m impressed with your writing and grammar and characters and no it does not feel like a Heroes rise knockoff.

Work has been quite intense this week but I wanted to duck in here and respond to a few comments.
@derekmetaltron, age has no effect on anything. I just left it in so older readers (like me!) call feel a bit closer to their MCs.
@anyhelpbob, fancy is always okay, and yes you summed up my thoughts about Stunner. I assumed no one was interested in him.
@EarnBoogie, I thought about having a rival, but Heroes Rise did that with Jury, and I didn’t think it was necessary here. I mean, I never had a ‘rival’ in high school, much less college. I did experience a multitude of different personalities, attitudes and worldviews, which is what I’m trying to somewhat recreate here. I hope the MC can agree with Mob on one issue but maybe agree with Crook on another.
Edited to add: that being said, if you dig a deep hole early on with Stunner or Origami, it can be extremely hard to get them out of ‘enemy’ status.

Ugh… I absolutely hated Jury. To me, he was more of a nuisance than a rival though. Like when you’re at a bbq and there’s that fly that hits you smack dab in your forehead while you’re trying to enjoy your food. Afterwards, you’re trying to smack the fly away from you and your plate of food for the rest of the night. Maybe it’s just me. o.0
@EarnBoogie no trust me it’s not you. Hated him but not in the rival sense. He just happened to be there and annoying at the same time.
Hmm, I think I have been silently following your game since the beginning (I remember when it ended right after the capture the flag game). I wanted to stay how much I enjoyed it and was looking forward to its completion.
That being said, the reason I’m commenting now is that I was a little disappointed to hear that Stunner is no longer a romance option. I have been looking forward to the update where you get to go on a date with him (I thought it was going to be the next one!). The other two (Mob and Crook) aren’t really interesting in a romance type of way for me. I feel like you’ve written enough of Mob for me to understand his character, and while I think he would be a cool character as a friend, I don’t really go for guys who are ‘meek’ (I totally get how other people may like that, but I would prefer to play the game through single). During all my plays I don’t think I’ve gotten to know Crook that well (he is the one with the knives right?) so I really don’t know if I would be more into him. Maybe if he sees more screen time I may grow to like him, but so far he hasn’t been one of my favorite characters. I love Dirty Girl (Fog Bitch! I literally laughed so hard when I read that and her reaction, on a side note I hope the nickname sticks) and Tress but I prefer to go with a guy.
Anyways I just wanted to comment and hope to change your mind on removing stunner as a romance option. I liked his confidence, the flirts you can do with him, and I also think while he is confident he isn’t perfect and there was a lot of room for character development with him. Out of all the characters at the school, even including the ones who aren’t romance options, I always was looking forward to seeing more scenes with him. And who doesn’t want to date the muscle jock :). I understand why you took out Uni (she didn’t really have very much screen time so far) so maybe you would consider putting stunner back in and taking Crook out?
Anyways I hope I’m not offending anyone, I just wanted to share my thoughts.

So far so good. I enjoy the fact that everyone with powerd does not out do the MC.
I have only a few problems…Picking an age does not really matter so far, your father as an minor villian(so far no upside or downside) and the MC does not really stand out from the others…it is like in the comics where the non-power character gets over shadow.
But I am still drawn to your story. Keep up the great work. RO’s for me so far is DG or Tress it really depends on what group I side with.
Awesome job, I can’t wait for the update! I’m really looking forward to interacting more with Crook… and everyone else, of course but you know, what’s his game? Why so cocky? What innocent, inanimate object will he stab next!? So many questions. He’s definitely my first choice as a romantic option. Hot, mysterious (and a little goofy, by the looks of it) wins me over every time.
I like Stunner, probably because I gravitate to the jerk-y, arrogant characters. I totally agree with what anyhelpbob said about romance options though, quality over quantity. Though personally, I would like to still be able to flirt with him a little, even if it doesn’t lead anywhere.

@Havenstone and @razgriz, yes the slingshot is the most deadly weapon thus far. But he’ll, it’s basically a hunting weapon. I’m researching ball bearing sizes because the size matters when it comes to whether it penetrates or not. Okay let me google keywords ‘balls’ and ‘size’ and 'pen…wait…I should do this in private.
@JanusVonDul, welcome! I’m a little confused by your comment. Do you think the other characters outshine the MC’s abilities or not? In theory, they should outshine the MC, and I have no plans to make the MC super mega awesome, buuuut…with upgrades and training, I would think the MC can hold her/his own.
@lisaburlew and @Wire, more votes for Stunner, huh? Hmmmm. Oh and @Wire, your Tress is pretty hot! I’d love to see more characters!
