@HornHeadFan well, if you want to make us hate Contrarian more you have to make it personal. Like say, your LI becomes a target for an attack or even a victim from being in the wrong place at the wrong time. >:)
Or better yet: same as above EXCEPT the Contrarian makes everyone else think its your character who attack. It will definitely make it personal hehe >:)

How about you get caught in a bomb and lose an arm or something? Could be near the end otherwise life would be tricky for a superhero.

Casual whistle = personal now? Aw man… so when that woman was whistling at the market yesterday, it was secretly a clever and witty barb about my parents? Touche.
In my opinion what would be cool if we could be build a green arrow character maybe you could add for weapons bow and arrows? That would be awesome! That’s who generally my person ends up resembling! Lol
Also I chose a detective with a 1940’s outfit and a full mask and I named him Rorschach. 
@ShadowWolf0020, you must private message me with your idea as it may be better than mine. “Magnificent Bastard” is quite the lofty standard to pursue!
@Thespianbrony, well the MC won’t be dying (i made that decision long ago) but don’t you think one of his/her classmates needs to bite the dust to insert some level of sacrifice? >:) But it doesn’t have to be Uni. In fact, I had someone else in mind.
@Pendrew, perhaps I should have said innocent whistle to better convey my intent. And yes the woman at the grocery was obviously up to no good.
@StarWarsMaster, well there will be another set of equipment upgrades in chapter 6 so you never know. After slingshot and taser, there are only so many non-firearm distance attacks.
General comment. I’ve decided to push the whole archetype idea in the story a bit more so that the MC views himself/herself as a Bullet, Brawler, etc. So I’m doing away with “choose your own weapons” and instead just assigning your equipment upgrade based on your archetype. This will greatly simplify the remaining coding for combat scenes and let me write more details about equipment and how you use it. It should also avoid jack of all trades builds which would lead to a loss at the end.
Will there still be lots of ways to ‘lose’, though? One thing I love about certain CS games is the chance to lose epically, odd as that sounds. Plus, what’s a good super hero story without some serious fail built in? *grin*
Yes I’m planning at least two ‘non canon’ endings, based either on stats and/or a major decision you make very late in the game. Basically you’d go through virtually the entire story (at least 90%) to get to any of the endings.
When can we see chapters 5 and 6?

Hey! I found two errors during the character creation sequence. When choosing among the pre-made names for female characters, one of them is listed as “Chloe” in the choice, but becomes “Chloee” in the stat screen, and appears that way for the rest of the game. Also, if you choose goggles for your mask, they become “googles” in the stat screen, and are described as googles for the rest of the game. I don’t want the children in the hospital looking at my googles, I want them looking at my goggles. 
Anyways, love the game!
@StarWarsMaster, I still think Memorial Day is realistic but I’ve been sick this week and my wife is out of town all week and my daughters are what you would call high maintenance, so I am piling up the excuses in the off chance I fall short!

General comment. Did you guys know that grapple guns really exist and are used by military? They are heavy (think rifle) but you can use them to fire a titanium hook like 150 feet. Sadly they aren’t Batmanish in that they don’t have a motor but with a little artistic license a Bullet might be able to swing into a villain.
I just thought it was very cool. What a great time to be alive.
