Yeah … peeps like mystery. And i’m totally a peep 
. Besides she seems most interesting anyway. That said all the characters are really good so far, though none seem interesting as romantic characters to me so far. That’s probably just cause I don’t know much about them yet but stoic seems most unique among them, so that’s where my count goes. Well that’s enough romance questions for me today.
Edited section yay: as for a more in-def reason behind her gravitational pull to the readers is that for the average superhero story reader you will find the urge to have the power to protect those who are incapable of protecting themselves. While stoic has shown herself to be quite possibly the most talented if not outright powerful person here, she has also shown a deep seated distrust or suspicion of others whether conscious of it or not as well as a large amount of apathy to her given situation. This is commonly viewed as psychological weakness which can stem from harmful past experiences which directly relates to the natural drive towards protecting the weak. therefor her “shyness” is a rather major attracting point to the people who would commonly read this. Also just the general air of mystery adds to the whole appeal.
Or in the terms of Otaku(Fans of Japanese media, specifically anime/manga) everywhere “She is just so Moe” I can’t believe I just used that word. I wonder how many of you are going to need to Google that. Welp that’s enough unnecessary ranting on the psycho babble relating to a non-existent superhero character. Great story so far by the way and I hope you keep up the good work. RANT MAN AWAY.

Wow. With this reception you might as well take out Dirty Girl and add Stoic as a romance option. DG could just be interested in a fling and not a relationship. Just saying.

Nope Stoic most definitely does not need protecting :)) she comments on how you can’t do anything to beat her and is immediately proven correct. good times that. however her attitude does cause the same reaction. I’m calling it the “Gaara effect”. If you pay any attention to his fan-girls (no offence please don’t kill me fan girls [-O< ) it is almost entirely about protecting and caring for the guy, especially when he was a kid. He was for most of the show considered pretty much invulnerable and absolutely psychotic, which rarely needs protection. My god i’m ranting again, so i’ll end it with this: she may not need protection, but by jolly she’l get it anyway. Also protection is always a good thing kids. :)>- aww emotes. how pointless you are.

Dont you dare remove DG from the romance option. Its not because she’s wild that she cant decide to eventualy settle down or anything. And she remind me a bit of tank girl and the character is just overall awesome.

@stsword, well you can definitely pursue friendships with them both, especially Origami. I picture her as more little sister or asexual, but that could always change. She will have several important scenes before the end.
@anyhelpbob, you nailed the psychological assessment of Ms. Stoic. Definite trust and commitment issues.
General comment: I took the plunge and bought a domain for CCH so I can always decide later to build at least a basic web presence. I’m not sure if anyone other than @JimD has done that. Does anyone know?

@Beezlebub, not currently. But isn’t that what sequels are for? Even if she begrudgingly got closer to someone in this story, it wouldn’t progress to “romance” of any kind. But give her time! (assuming she survives)

First, I want to say that this game (along with When in Rome and Guenevere) compelled me to quit lurking and join the forums. 
I love the latest update. The Dr. Stench Story is hilarious. The new social scenes feel a lot more natural, though I miss the scene where Crook was about to stab the table with a knife and then stopped to ask if it was a nice table 
Maybe he can do that at Origami’s place in the new Contrarian group meeting?
I was thinking that your character’s age should be established closer to the beginning of the story. It seems like one of those big things that would determine a lot of other things. I’d think that their age would influence what their big secret is; a 19 year old would definitely have issues with a villain parent, but my middle-aged character’s big secret would probably be something like the location of his spouse and kids (you definitely wouldn’t want villains finding out that information). Also, their age would probably influence what accomplishments they list in their application. A nineteen year old would definitely list winning the high school chess competition, but an older character has probably done something bigger by now, like organizing a community watch.
I also came up for a solution for the costume problem. A lot of people seem to be asking for different things, so I was thinking you could give them the option to type in a description of their costume, the way Orpheus Ruse lets you describe your character’s appearance. You could do the same for the mask and color scheme, too.
Overall, I love this game. You’re doing a really good job. I can’t wait to see more of it.
Can she at least be mildly friendly if you completely devote being nice and spending time with her? :4 Please?
