This has got to be one of my favorite WiP’s keep up the good work! I haven’t had any problems with it so far and the story and characters are fun.
I can’t wait for ch.5! I love the characters and how you can have more than one relationship. Keep up the great work!
@jjc73, I meant to respond to you. I totally understand the predictiment while working on a WIP: 1) do you read other WIPs that may have similar themes/plots in an effort to avoid inadvertently writing something similar, or 2) do you go into “hermit mode” and avoid all other WIPs like the plague so you can’t be accused of ripping off another story?
I’m in camp 2. If I write something similar to another WIP, so be it. It won’t be intentional. I was reeeeaally tempted to participate in the Heroes Rise beta but chose not to for this very reason.

SOMEWHAT SPOILERY ROMANCE GUIDE SO JUST A WARNING
Mob. If you like guys or are bi and you have flirted a bit with him at lunch and/or during your spar, he will be “interested.” Later he should ask you out if you are in the public relations scene in Chapter 4. I’m not sure if you are required to have lunch with him for that to happen , but the math might require that. Also if you are dating someone he will say “so and so” is lucky to be with you but be wont ask you out.
Dirty Girl. If you like girls or are bi, snd you stay late at the rave, you can heat up the dance floor with her (that might be viewed as “dating” in of itself) and if you are in the Chapter 4 Crook group, she will bluntly hint about going out again. If you are dating Tress already she should tease you about it but she will still go out with you if you show interest.
Stunner. If you either win Capture the Flag or lose but apologize to him about the loss, you should bump ito him at the gym in chapter 2. He will be interested depending on your response (again if you like guys or are bi). Later he will carry that interest over if you sit close to him in HELL although if you’re already dating Tress the scene defaults to her.
Tress. If you have a good relationship with her after the Flag game, she should say hi in the grocery. You can flirt (if you like girls or are bi) or be a perv or be polite or insult her. Flirting (not excessive) or being nice works. Dinner ending in a kiss ends with you dating her although you can basically dump her in Chapter 3 HE’LL scene. If you go too far with any other character, she will find out and break up with you (but that has not been written yet).
Crook. Your attitude toward him in the “most powerful person” scene will determine what happens with your MC and him in chapter 5. He will be accessible even if you are not in his “adventure group”
Uni - if you take a dive for her, you’ll get a chance for dinner in Chapter 4 but nothing of substance happens yet. You’ll get more exposure to her if you are in her group.
If anyone has tried these things and they do not work, let me know.

@Thespianbrony, probably like in real life. Some would object (Tress) and others wouldn’t (DG). I may have to create a “door knob” accomplishment for MCs that date like 4 or more characters.
That would be awesome if you did that I’m a sucker for romance. Especially Superhero romance lol

Re the WiP predicament, I’m inclined to #2 myself – it’s why I haven’t read 8 Thrones or most other fantasy WiPs…
