Probably private.
I’d freely share them but the author I guess doesn’t want the surprise ruined so soon.
First of all, 300th post! Yay. And yeah I just asked that the ideas about secrets be kept secret/private so that some folks might be legitimately surprised in the next update. And also I think Nil would want it that way.
Would you be willing to say whether you just went with the idea you liked best or will the game have multiple options as to what the explanation is?
@stsword, I’m still thinking about it although MC’s secret will likely be determined to help me design the narrative.
Making lots of tweaks to first 4 chapters in response to all the feedback. Skirt lovers and trenchcoat lovers will be pleased.
Oops double post.
Trenchcoat, yes, how about a hat to complete the look ala http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CoatHatMask?
Just a general comment: I’ve been working hard making character interactions, especially the ones in chapter 2, much more organic. I’m drilling deeper in the interactions as well, so those who wanted more specifics on partying with Dirty Girl, gaming with Wombat, etc should enjoy it more.
I’ll also post the brand spankin new chapter 5 along with the chap 1-4 upgrades, basically getting me to the halfway point.
I’m not sure about the date for the next update but it should be sometime later this month.
You spend many afternoons with Combat Wombat, who apparently recognizes the awkwardness of addressing someone with a four-syllable *hame* and insists that you call him “C-Wom.” You suspect that he chose his rental home six blocks from campus because its spacious garage could accommodate his bulky armor.
correction *name not hame
Great story so far.
Although I can’t figure out how to win the Breaking People & Things exam as a Detective…
Could I have a link please?
@PORT3R
LINKREMOVED
You can always find a link on the COG Directory, trying to keep it up to date.
Chapter 5 is not there!!!
@zesty use all of the possible tactical/melee advantages throughout the game improving it so you can build up your characters skill in either hmm or pow and your skill should be good enough i did it like that in m first run-through
I ran into an error trying to do a distance attack on Clown Girl during the rounds in the destroy class thing aa,
Keep reporting errors and typos. I will try to fix everything in the upcoming update.
@zesty, some combat styles currently can’t win in certain scenes, but new victory possibilities are being added. Basically you should stick to your stengths but your strengths will not always lead to victory, especially if you don’t earn upgrades as the story proceeds
General question to those who have read through the first 4 chapters…
What do you think is the hardest decision so far?
I thought that shooting Origmai or deciding to umm…compromise yourself for an A in Defense might make the list but I want to hear from you.
Hopefully as the story moves forwards, secrets are gathered and perhaps disclosed to Nil, and all hell breaks loose in Speck, the reader will be faced with more and more difficult decisions.
To be honest, the hardest decision for me was deciding how much effort to put into the legal class.
