Personally, I’m very inclined towards Specktacular Seven, ( If only because of how it mirrors the Twelve, and keeps our “Roots” preserved).
But I wouldn’t mind something that heralds back to Origami, so what about Senbazuru, the Myth of the One Thousand Folded Cranes.
(An ancient Japanese legend that promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by the Gods. Or recovery from illness or injury. Which ties into how a lot of us readers really want to bring Origami back, even if it works better with her death and the continual reminds of it).
Though I suppose that the Seven Fold or Origami itself could work.

Personally,I like The Specktacular Seven because I know that there’s going to be one guy out there who’ll see our name and be like “…really?”.

Rookies seems pretty popular, judging from the poll, but would Red State Rookies punch it up a little for those who thought it seemed too simple?
And now I’m picturing them time traveling to 2036 when they are all 40ish, awesomely powerful in a Justice League sort of way, and they’ve become the Knights of Nebraska. It does sound quite regal.
And for those who mentioned an “asshole” type of name, I think the Specktacular Seven fills that slot.

I think of the western movies: The Magnificent Seven when this name is used. So I wouldn’t like this one.
The Knights of Nebraska seems the best of those presented so far. KoN for short

EDITED TO ADD: And to the person who mentioned the GotG thing about “what a bunch of a-holes,” I’d say that the group of seven might be viewed as a little assholish just by the very fact that they are forming their own little group of seven (and giving themselves an “official name”) when the whole student body is only what, 16 or 18 people?
But I always loved Community on NBC. To me, Shine, Pink Cavalier, etc., are the Magnitude, Star-Burns, Vicky, Fat Neil, of the story.

Between all the talk about the Night Of Lawlessness and the team meeting in which you pick the official name for the team,I haven’t really seen much chatter about DG’s Back To School party.
It’s nice to see that after all of what has happened (death of Origami,Wyvern fucking shit up,etc.),at least SOMEONE is willing to attempt to lift everyone’s spirit.
