For most of the places,I’m content with this idea. But what about the supermarket?I’m pretty sure that a supermarket is an important place in general, given that it’s where you get all your food.
I’m guessing that you can give her a call after you dial up Stunner in Prestige (if my MC hits up a character whose relationship is in the negatives, they’d definitely call someone who’s relationship is in the 20s)
Maybe she can give you some fighting tips and such.Or possibly give you the advanced equipment for the Tactician route,or hints on how to unlock our powers in the Zenith route.Maybe she knows about your relationship with Dr Stench and has a hint on the location of his weapons?
I like the sound of those possibilities. Be cool if each class could learn a different special skill from her. Like acrobats get to learn a new martial art(probablyKravmaga) or how to use other melee weapons.
Detectives learn how to use a Zenith’s power against them or could learn about “Zenith Pressure Points”.
Sharp Shooters can learn about how to use long range weapons at close range or how to make shots ricochet of walls and other things.
Not to mention the possibilities of all this being used in tandem with your route choice.
Thanks, I figured since Zeniths run on Z energy there must be a way to hinder the flow of that power. It would work great with detectives because they have the power and brains to pull it off
Barring an unforeseen emergency, the FREE short story will be emailed TONIGHT to everyone (all 199 of you!) on the email list. I hope you enjoy it. I’m including an author’s note to explain continuity and such.
And now my focus turns back to getting the new Part 2 material bug-free and ready for posting on dashingdon.
If you emailed me and did NOT get a confirmation, please check your spam folder. It’s probably there under Eric Moser. I have sent batch emails to every person who emailed me from October 10 through December 10.
EDITED TO ADD:
My wife and I saw Will Hoge in concert on Saturday (in a hole-in-the-wall with 150 people) and it was AWESOME. If you haven’t checked him out before, here’s a link. His genre is hard to nail down, although most would say “country.” There’s some Americana, bluegrass, rock, and soul in there too.
We got to meet him after the show, shake his hand, get a (free) pic taken with him, wish him happy holidays, etc. I’ll have to find a way to mention one of his songs in Part 2 to show some love.
Spending these past 3 years working on CCH has given me a new appreciation for any artistic person who pays their dues, works hard, and chases their dreams. He strikes me as that kind of guy.
Whew! The email has been sent! A Very Stoic Christmas is a 3,000-word Community College Hero short story with cover image by @defenestratin
Clicking the “send” button to 201 recipients made me super nervous, like I was turning one of those nuclear launch code keys or something. I assume that’s a real thing.
If you post about A Very Stoic Christmas, just try to avoid anything that might be too spoilery - use the good ole spoiler brackets like this [spoiler]This is my question![/ spoiler]
