Community College Hero: Knowledge is Power (old WIP thread, now closed)

Stunner cannot die. He has cake armor now…

Then you would possibly be an angel.

O, yes to all three. Sorry for milling about.

This
Stunner. We were dating, although I never told him about my Dad’s villainous history.
fires the dating version perfectly.

Aha, after a quick perusal, (if I do not overstep), I did notice there is no
*if (stunner_status = “love”)
under
*label phonecall1_stunner

Aha, once again, I had hoped it wasn’t merely delerium due to Stunner fever:

*if (reveal_name_face = “no”) His voice deepens. “I really like you. When I saw your face for the first time, right before I left, it made it hard for me to go. And yeah that pun was damn well intended.”

No worries, though, as it was initially within a previous update of 2, not 1.

Bed sheet = Origami. Message received.

Really? I got a B from him for blocking and then an A in the other classes and I didn’t like him from the start :stuck_out_tongue:

Ya - my first play through I was less then smart with my classes.

I’m calling it now.

Jacob will be the character that dies.

You always have to end up killing off the innocent child with a disability.

It’s Superhero Stories 101.

I think the characters are going to get split up between Speck, Prestige, and Savior, and the MC will have to make a choice

Oh god PLZ no!!!If Prestige offers me a spot in their school i might say yes. I mean seriously, who else would be the best to teach u how to master your powers?

:neutral_face::expressionless: …Traitor…

Is it? If I recall my tropes, the only thing that can kill the sick child is their sickness (which is certainly possible here), but I don’t see why that would be superhero-specific…

I agree. We must shun @The_Otaku_Dragon_Sla from now on.

If Savior offers my MC a spot I’m fucking taking it. Booksmart could whip up a new set of equipment that puts us on even footing with the other students.

Prestige can go fuck itself. They’re just a bunch of elitist pricks.I definitely see Mega Cat as some douche with a god complex. Also,I have to see Stunner again,so no thank you.

Savior can also go fuck itself. It really just doesn’t feel special to me in any way.And Booksmart is just some paranoid cunt who needs to know everyone’s secret so she can blackmail them. Also, the Hedonist is part of the crew.As well as Captin California, who mind raped me.So no thank you to that as well.

Speck is undeniably the best. Most of the teachers (McCormick,Dean,Downfall to an extent) genuinely want to help you and not just spy on you.The people in the school are chill and aren’t obsessed with being the best.Also,Stoic.Those cute anime eyes alone just compel me to stay at Speck.

I can totally agree I still think that Mega Cat is going to use the students of his school as his own army. And let alone only the lucky few are the only ones allowed in.

Also why hate on savoir aside from the hedonist they take in the Zeniths who were unlucky. Then gave them a chance to go to a Z-collage, and I can see why they did the mind check the smarts were two of the smartest people in the world. So they would want information from any source that is valuable also to see if they may of had ties to the dozen or is looking to hurt the student body.Plus if you’re playing sown the Zenith’s route they have a chance to unlock your powers. And if you’re lucky you could romance one of the smarts. I just can’t wait to go to Savior because of the tech and to meet new people and hopefully unlock the mc’s powers.

Speck I love the place and the people but it’s like a cocoon to my MC. Once that cocoon is done its time to move on to somewhere else.

Is it too late to thrown in my offer of assistance? I was/am an avid player of the first game… and persevered through all the possible achievements. (A minor obsession!)

Congrats on earning all the achievements! I know that must have taken a good number of playthroughs.

Yes, you can help! For now, the help I need is feedback on the Part 2 beta. When I’m 75% through, I’ll probably shift to private testing, but that’s a long way off.

Next update should be next Sunday (it will be a small one), and then I hope to crank out 50,000 words during November for NaWriNoMo so I can provide a Yuuuuuuuge update in early December.

Lookin’ forward to the new updates!
Also, I think communitycollegehero.com is down right now? Could just be me, but I thought I’d let you know just in case.

EDIT: Aaaand it’s up again!

Yeah I’d go with Savior. Streetsmart is cool, and Mega Cat is a prick.

I think I’d want to go to Savior. For me, I see nothing but pros.

 • It’s in California. Love that place.
 • Could get some more upgrades with higher technology.
 • The Smarts could help unlock potential Zenith powers in that route maybe?
 • Some… other reasons.

Savior may not be as bad as Prestige, but that’s not exactly hard.

Nah. Speck all the way.

I’m totally excited. There are maybe 4 or 5 of the scores of HG and COG games I’ve played in the last 3 years which really grabbed me. This promises to be another! (Heroes Rise, Lost Heir, A Study in Steampunk, Versus, Fatehaven, Zombie Exodus… and some super cool.WIP) It’s a good time to be playing.

So I saw early on in the thread that are going to be persona checks,to make the player feel more immersed.I agree with this.

Will there also be checks for the Motivations and schools?Maybe a citizen can ask you why you decided to be a hero. And there could possibly be a scene where you say which school you plan to go to.
