The idea is you’ve gotta LIKE the person who dies to be traumatized enough to go SSJ
Hey, don’t look at me; I voted for overly-complicated training montage!
The History of Trunks literally changed my entire life and you want a montage??? okay your loss but okay
Hey, I’m just looking out for my MC’s loved ones. When I need to start sacrificing them for power-ups, the non-Zenith routes start to look a lot more appealing.
Good point, what’s the point of getting power if you got to sacrifice your close friends to get it
Angst. (+20 characters)
A little bit of angst is fine. “All my friends keep dying and it’s all my fault because there’s nothing I can do about it” angst gets dull quite quickly.
You answered your own question. At least you’ll be strong enough to save whoever remains standing.
Thank u!!!
I’m so sick of that
And don’t forget that all the angst will be wasted when MC gives zero fucks about others…would such a person just never gain any powers or gain them by crossing their own moral event horizon (aka be the one that kills a “friend”) instead?
True, i just wish people didn’t have to get dropped before a MC can get the motivation she/he needs to do the job
If we choose to go with Dad’s old gear, would we be stuck with the stink gas or would we be able to make it pack more of a punch?
That is a pretty good question. If we can modify it, i wonder if our chosen archetype has something to do with the modifications.
Well, using the Dr. Stench gear will require high Zap and Whoosh, and I’m guessing that Zap is the more important of the two. Sharpshooter is the obvious choice because it’s high Zap and secondary Whoosh (best guess is that Dr. Stench would have been classified as a Sharpshooter), and you could make a convincing case for Soldier given the secondary Zap. Detective is neither here nor there, and Acrobat has Zap as it’s lowest stat, so it’s basically out of the question. I mean, different upgrades for different archetypes is a great idea, but there are only two archetypes that would really be good with the Dr. Stench gear.
Also, why is there not an option for having earnt Big Apple Brawling or Sneaky Sneaky? Just curious.
@MocktheWeek6 Actually,I think Sharpshooter and Soldier are both perfectly capable of the Dr Stench Route. It requires Zap and Shhh, which the Sharpshooter has,but it also somewhat relies on Thud as well, which is where the Soldier comes in.
As for the other 2 acheivements,I’m sure we will see then later on as the game gets updated. It really wouldn’t make sense calling Stunner from Prestige but not calling Downfall. And I’m sure we’ll have another scene where you find Nil in your bathtub or something, and he tells you the secrets of the Smarts.
To be fair I did say two archetypes that would be good, which were the Sharpshooter and the Soldier. It’s just that the Sharpshooter is markedly better at Zap and Whoosh.
As long as it’s not the Hedonist that ends up in my bathtub (except it’s to get rid of his corpse, that would be okay)…
You’d probably need some really strong acid for that. (Acid as in solvent, not hallucinogenic. Although you might need that too, just in case.)
No worries, my MC has seen enough Breaking Bad to know what to do
! (What reminds me that the bathtub may not be the ideal place for that…)
