I have found another way for our MC to witness Stoic showing her emotions,besides those raspberries and teaming with her.
Give her a kitten.
Even someone as stoic as Stoic can’t resist the cuteness of a kitten.

Love all the boku no hero academia references up there xD. Personally love this “nullifier” power over a lame power. (Btw talking with dogs would be awesome) But then again I dont mind the “too convinient” thing very much at all…also Im a little biased cause I wanna take peoples powers away, specially stoic and hedonist >:3
Not to mention how great itd feel to take Manipulator’s powers after the first game >:D
What I meant here was in the perspective of the author, @Eric_Moser. He can write the routes in such a way that they overlap as to not put too much strain on coding or writing.
I wouldn’t like it, personally. But it is an option to make their life easier.
I never said that. There are a lot of Zeniths out there who are just as heroic if not more so than the MC. And while it may not be deus ex machina to you, it seems that way to me. I’m going to reiterate that the journey up until now has been about how to be a hero despite the fact that you don’t have powers.
Developing powers like super strength, super speed, or flight (read: traditional powersets) seems like a too convenient way to solve problems. Not to mention that it doesn’t fit with the theme of CCH1. And if it doesn’t fit with CCH1’s theme then what separates CCH2 from all the other hero COGs out there?
Yeah well. CCH1 has never been about “the fun perks of being a super powered character” to me. For the sake of argument though, if the author wishes to take the superpower-route-that-is-not-nullifier-power, then it would be funny (and cool) if the MC becomes almost ridiculously overpowered. About the lame powerset idea… is this not like Hero Project 2’s MC thing? The weird animal changing per day schtick?
And you are right about it being very risky to use Parts 1&2 as build up only to give the MC a lame powerset. It’s not only risky in fact, it would be annoying lol. 
At least give us something cool in exchange for all that buildup.

Bring her a kitten and a puppy that are friends with each other.Then,they’ll start to play with each other in front of Stoic.
So not only is the cuteness of the kitty combined with the cuteness of the puppy,but the cuteness of seeing them playing with each other is added as well.
No one,and I mean NO ONE,can resist that.

This is pretty much what I wanted from the Zenith route, given that the other two routes are unpowered. I plan to try all 3, so I was hoping the Zenith route had actual powers (rather than nullification) as a way to be distinct.
I would really love if it was like the Greatest American Hero*, where the MC gets these powers and has no fricking clue how to use them and just trial and error their way through the bad guys.
*In case nobody else here was into silly 80s hero shows like I was, GAH was a story of an average teacher who finds an alien suit that grants flight, strength, and tons of other powers but he loses the instruction manual. For example he can fly pretty easily but he has no idea how to land the suit so he just crashes into the ground every time.
