Community College Hero (for all post-release feedback)

@Sylfaen Indeed. Although It made her death even more upsetting.

I finished my first playthrough and overall it’s really enjoyable. The casts are nice, most of them are likable, except Downfall though bye. Also may I ask if it’s possible for Hedonist to be a real RO in the future?

What happenend? I’m not sure wich scene you’re talking about.

Hi! This game is really awesome. Always love the hero stuff! :grinning:
I’ve got a few questions and would appreciate if any one can answer them.

  1. How do I romance crook? I always flirt with him, but can’t get him to date me. I tried all the options when I was with the barn with him. I even opened his zipper! :grin:

  2. How can I know crook’s secret?

  3. Aaaaand Lastly, How can I get the achievements “Say Cheese” And “You make me horny”?

Anyways, that’s all my questions.

Which scene? Surfer guy or Barn scene?

@Sophia
2. Go to town with him when you’re at the farm and drink with him until you end up spilling your own secret and he tells you his.

  1. I can’t remember what Say Cheese was, but “You Make Me Horny” you just go date Uni, and when you’re going out mention you miss her horn. When you get back to her place there should be an option with her horn, use it.

I’m pretty “Say Cheese” is During the sparring match with Stoic, choose the option to try to give her a raspberry If I remember correctly, that’s how I got it.

Thanks!

@Sylfaen
I was talking about the barn scene when you kiss crook, let him take the initiative or open his zipper. I think that was the choices. It probably happened when you were walking with crook and tress at the barn.

And what surfer guy? Are you talking about the scene with mob? Perhaps?

@bookworm37
Great! I’ll try that. Thx

Idk someone said something about someone death

Hello. I have played nearly all the choice of games and hosted games. I find this game in the top half of the games at least. I have played through a few times and cannot seem to get many achievements. I also noticed it is a struggle to know where you stand with particular characters. If you want a place to improve on the stats screen could use a bit of fine tuning.

Yeah I got the same bug but it was to bad

Hey @HornHeadFan , I don’t suppose you’ve got a gallery somewhere with the art for CCH? I loved the cover page that had Mob. Just wondering if I’ll have to replay the game to get another look at it. /snickers/

The surfer guy is the blonde dude who shows up at the end to replace Nil. If you ask him where the surfer accent went after you read the Diabolical Dozen files he tells you that Savior crafts entire personas for their heroes. I was suggesting that Hedonist isn’t really a massive creep he’s just playing the character that Savior crafted for him.

@Sophia Since you’re pursuing Crook… GG.

When you discover his secret. You’ll know why.

Not only that but I believe The Smarts use the secretes gained from their class’ (From the memory machine and word of mouth), plus Booksmart’s intellect ( Hacking and researching students, videoing them “I don’t have proof of the latter but the former is hinted at if you get the third rank of detective”), to give them a greater degree of influence and control over “Their” students and quite possibly facility.

After all how do you both control, and craft heroes into productive members of society, with pre-planed persona’s and prevent them from breaking away or rebelling.

You use their biggest fears, mistakes and oddities against them…Whether than means threatening to reveal their name, or simply holding a friendship as hostage.

So I could totally foresee some drama arising from the fact that they know all your secretes, and the fact that they Will use those secretes to get you to act like they want.

But no just that, if you stole a heap of secretes, or if Good ol Cap stole the memories of other classmates than you could have your friends being forced to act differently…Imagine If They thought that Tress should act more like a Cheerleader and avoid your group, or if they use Mob’s Secrete to shame him into acting like a jock.
( There is just so much room for interesting content from this one event, though it did go in a different direction to where I thought it would…I imagined having to spill someones secrete in font of them so that they knew that you betrayed them, I thought Nil would watch the reactions of those you revealed the secretes of to see if they were true)

I agree that it looks like the plot is going that way, but my concern right now is that (tagging as spoilers bc these implications were a bit of a twist in the game) it’s going to come off as the school that pledges itself to be pro-diversity and allowing less powerful(privileged) heroes the chance to get good training is the one that is doing evil shit, so I really hope that Prestige is revealed to be crappy too, if that’s the case.

Well we have to remember that Nil was at your Speck for a reason, and that The Hedonist believed that it was on behalf of good old Mega Cat.

So I’m inclined to believe that Prestige is just as shady, maybe even worse.
I see the Smarts using secretes to encourage cooperation from their students, while I would see Prestige trying to steal other heroes secretes as a way to brow beat them out of the spot light.
Maybe a Class eight from the Smarts school has a truly horrible secrete and Prestige uses it to ruin them.

Like my MC all I see is a Zenith Turf War

This is one of my favorite Steam questions about the topic…

*Why do you think Speck is important to all camps and who is really running it? *

Think it would be fun to speculate as we wait for part 2.

The Villians, Mega Cat and the Smarts all want something from Speck it would seem.

*Why is it so important when the students are low level Z’s that for most part can’t gain admission into the other groups cause they are weak? *

*It feels like there is a 4th party, that has made Speck a hopeful buffer zone in an upcoming turf war? Or at least it fells like Dean Tolly is working for a 4th neutral party. *

What do you think?

Hmm, so maybe i will give it a try… I played a really old beta of the game too and there Hedonist just plainly tried to rape MC (tried to blackmail into having sex with him), and later i got only one half-hearted attempt at reporting him and it was just brushed off. So i’ve got a rather bad first impression of the author for treating rape attempt as no big deal. Even hearing later that it was not the case and just missunderstanding of early version writing, still i havent tried game from that time. But as so many people saying it have changed and it’s good i think i should give it another chance.
I remember it still left me curious what was wrong with Speck, why so many teachers seem to train students to fail in the world or maybe even train them to be villains :slight_smile: I wonder how much of it is explained in first part.

I can assure you I don’t treat sexual assault as “no big deal.” I’m married and I have two young daughters and I worked as a prosecutor, second-chairing a sexual assault trial that made me ill.

All of that being said, this is a work of fiction. A least one person is killed in the story. Does that imply I view murder as “no big deal?” Children are put in danger. Does that imply I view threats against children as “no big deal?” I could go on and on, obviously.

If anything, Speck’s response to any concerns about the Hedonist might imply that they don’t have their sh*t together, or that they’re desperate for professors, or dozens of things. Maybe Tolly is just overwhelmed with everything. Why would the characters’ reactions to something in the story imply that I felt a certain way on an issue…any issue?

I just don’t understand your position at all. It doesn’t strike me as logical.
