Same,but I also thought it would be like a counter ability for example his ability is to counter others so Lady Ash produced fire when fighting the MC he’d produce ice. Or like the ability to steal a zenith ability.

Does anyone wonder how Augur (the villain from the writing contest) will play into the story?
My theory:
Augur creates dissent within the Speck Seven by revealing to the group/PU that your father was a supervillain AND you’re receiving help from the Manipulator to fight the Dozen. This causes the fight between the Speck Seven that @Eric_Moser mentioned earlier in this thread. Maybe Tress/Synergy stand by you, whereas DG/Stunner/Crook can’t forgive you working with the Manipulator.

I’m just itching for this fight. It will boil down to a battle of credibility. Let’s see your theory:
Tress vouches for you: disciplined, focused and charismatic student, with knack for public speaking.
Mob: a straight shooter, pacifist and activist.
2 reliable and credible members vouch for you. That’s a plus.
DG: a drug addict, undisciplined, brash, poor student. A student who almost fucked up your school trip by antagonizing staff and almost overdosing on drugs. Zero credibility.
Crook: lol, who he thinks he is to lecture you on making deals with criminals? A former inmate, a murderer hired to kill your father, deadbeat dad and husband, drunk, reckless, vengeful bordering on sociopath. When you think Crook has hit rockbottom, he pulls a shovel out of his ass and digs deeper. Zero credibility.
Stunner: Who is this? Oh right, the guy who abandoned your team in their moment of need, and now wants to rejoin it when you are becoming famous for standing your ground against the Manipulator.
2 dregs of society and an afterthought. What a reputable and trustworthy group.
And now the MC: a top human student in a school of superheroes, a teacher’s pet, the guy/girl who took town the Wyvern, knocked out the Manipulator, a grade 5 superhero possibly grade 9 in the making, did community service with kids at the hospital, all around badass and role model who happens to have a villain as his father (as if you could choose your own family), and got a former member of the Dozen as an intelligence asset.
It’s crystal clear who would be on the wrong, and it’s not us.

No, but it gives us a chance to lead an army.
Weakness being morph type zenith traits, like monstrosity x and lowlife, however you’re a good counter to lady ash or someone who heavily relies on zenith traits.
And stoic, idk which way she’ll go, she has a strong feeling against stunner who left the team when needed the most, and might feel the same for your betrayal, (if you ever picked the tactician path) given your new kit was essentially given by the same psycho who murdered your anchor in the team, namely oregami trust me fam, it’s out of character for stoic to just let go of it,
and I think it’ll be cool to have a rogue path for every path too, I don’t think the hero industry is clean as it is. Given that prestige uses drugs and savior brainwashes people, hell might be good if there will be a spinoff where we get to be an anti-hero or anti-villain whichever you prefer.
[Justification for the edgelord Kiritsugu reference, it could be said that the tactician path is mostly what daddy kerry’s philosophy is, end justify the means, everything for the greater good, everything to get the job done, and it includes, that’s right, taking a kit from a psycho who tried to kill you for the last 2 franchise]

I think it’s a question of pragmatism and whether or not the bomb hits before or after you rescue Origami. If before, it’s a hard sell. She killed your friend, but she is an intelligence asset ready to give you that intel and more. She’s still a grade 9 zenith, so that doesn’t hurt either.
But if it’s after, then what’s the harm? Your enemy is ready to assist you against a greater enemy, and has a good reason not to be a double agent (arm chopped off). The government does this all the time, making deals to fry the bigger fish. Why can’t we do that too? Because Megacat is a self righteous idiot? He’s a dinosaur of superheroes who didn’t take down the Dozen in his entire career, so why should we follow his failed tactic of not working, when convenient, with an willing asset?

Same thoughts, but it might hurt our relationship with stoic tho, it hurts the relationship and maybe one of the conflicts revolve around stoic doubting us, or maybe the whole speck doubting us after the reveal of the origins, cause it makes a huge sense that we are fishy no matter where we look at it, a normal guy, with a villain dad, who caught a villain two level 8s couldn’t catch, and he did it alone, afterwards getting a class upgrade FROM SOMEONE WHO TRIES KILLING THEM FOR THE LAST 2 FRANCHISE, and btw, the media is all against speck having heroes.
To make it short : an extremely fishy guy with fishy origins is within a group of weak zeniths and somehow managed to beat a villain alone, a villain that 2 level 8 zeniths couldn’t catch, who got a class upgrade from a villain who killed oregami.
To media that is like, a criminal trying to kill more criminals to reduce competitions.

Synergy: a guy strong enough to be as destructive as deku(one for all 8%) BUT WOULDN’T BECAUSE EVEN IF A GIANT IS TRYING TO EAT YOU VIOLENCE IS STILL NOT THE ANSWER
DG: a bright student(brighter than tress if she wants to) who can use her gasses in a tactical way BUT WOULDN’T BC THE ONLY SMOKES SHE ENJOYS ARE WEEDS AND COCAINE is adorable like harlequin but less a psycho and more of an addict tomboy.
Crook: a former criminal who thinks she knows more (like most adults do to teens), possibly the one who kills stench, a possible father to oregami and has a huge potential to he a real tactical player BUT WOULDN’T BECAUSE WHY BE TACTICAL WHEN YOU CAN JUST STAB THEM
Stunner: looks like a jerk sounds like a jerk but is a good bro if you look at it enough, which if you actually choose the option to connect to him even tho he’s not your RO you can see he still cares for the team, but he left for the big leagues bc he can, and to be real everyone should do, IS ONE OF THE STRONGEST ON SPECK BUT HAS TO LEAVE SO WE COULD SHINE IN COMBAT WHAT MORE ARE WE ASKING FOR (but I think he’ll just stand in the way, but more firepower = more chances of winning, is just how it goes)
Stoic: A girl who doesn’t get bothered by anything except oregami and if you choose her as RO then except MC too but afterwards get a nerf BC SHE’S TOO OP, IMAGINE BLOCKING A HIT FROM A LVL 9 ZENITH AND LIVING TO TELL THE TALE WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR and she’ll have it back, no matter how much limb it costs for me I’ll give her the shield back.
MC: a regular guy who by long shot manages to enter a training school for low level heroes and manages to survive a level 9 zenith and a random villain who managed to escape and outthink 2 level 8 zeniths let alone beat the villain alone, ofc has a villain father cause why else would he want to be a hero right? Just kidding, but seriously our mc is better off as a vigilante more than as a hero, or it’s just me who doesn’t like rules.

Specially when they know there’s a traitor. Speaking about that, can everyone stop with the pointy finger at everyone? I’m starting to think people doing it just because of getting offended by the characters personality.
Also, all the “Stunner abandoned his friends”, “Tress getting jealous and angry at you for no reason”, “Crook being a natural a-hole”, "DG being stupidly unreliable, ect…are why i hate exaggerations, every theories and layouts seem plausible until people talk about the characters, they just don’t hold back and describe every details how suspicous that character is without thinking of reality and how brutally true most off those actions and reactions are. Everyone can’t be perfect and I think people just take it so personally that they don’t realize they’re slowly turn into the one they (or just a lot) hate, Crook, letting anger cloud their judgements.
But what do i know? Correct me if I’m wrong.

I’m surprised that people think Tolly is Mega Cat. Sure nothing is definite but to me I think shes either a relative,friend,or is/was a RO to mega cat. But anything is possible.
