Community College Hero 3: All Things End (Poll on Post #1248 re: romantic short stories)

No one can escape the embarrassment during Parents’ Day. No one :smiling_imp:

Not even Miss “things don’t bother me”

Oh be prepared for sooooo many embarrassing childhood stories (and maybe a few pics, if they are allowed!)

Stoic’s dad will probably be the most gregarious guy on earth.

Lmaooo that would explain so much. I wonder if Stoic will be embarrassed :joy:
Alternatively, Crook or DG would be funny

Makes since. My family is super shy an reserved, never speaking and heavily coated and sprinkled with anxiety, yet I’m a social butterfly who can walk into Walmart and walk out with 3 new friends lol.

In the choice: “Does the Dozen know we’re coming?”

Does this imply they’ve prepared for your arrival? is your group flying into a trap?

Capitalise the bolded word.

He glares the the student and barks, “Watch it!!”

Replace the first ‘the’ with ‘at’.

For the Halloween party, You could have them have a little fun in the town for a bit. I even remember a time where my friends and I may have… traumatized some children to never love Halloween again… I’m sure you can think up of something like that with dirty girl or crook if this interests you.

Is it okay of an idea to meet the parents of an RO. It might not apply for all of them but I think it’ll be important for Stoic.

@Indiewhale I’m still brainstorming but I’m not ruling anything out! And I need to reread “By Hook or By Crook,” a short story I wrote a year or two ago that follows a younger Crook around on a Halloween night; there might be a perfect hook buried in there somewhere.

@AntiZenith, I’ve thought about it. It could happen, but it’s not a for sure thing. It might be path-dependent if it does happen.

@SAHIL_RAI, welcome to the forums! And we’ll have to see what happens! I don’t want to say anything too spoilery.

@rinzygreye, Any parent-meeting will likely just take place in CCH 2.5. There’s just so much going in on Part 3 that I can’t make it even wider without getting bloated.

General Announcement:

There won’t be an update posted for CCH3 for a while longer (not sure when). I’ve had a productive month writing, and I’ll chug past the 20,000-word mark today, but a lot of the scenes aren’t connected yet, and some of the material is for CCH 2.5.

So my goals between now and Labor Day (Sept 7 here in the US) are twofold now:

  1. get 2/3 done with CCH 2.5 (which will mean completing 2 of the 3 stories), and
  2. post a comprehensive update for CCH 3.0, hopefully with all scenes clean and connected, and exceeding 60,000 words w/o code.

And because CCH 2.5 is sorta “modular” with 3 different stories that aren’t connected, I’ll probably beta test each of them as I finish them, so that the files are ready to submit to CoG when Story #3 is done. I’ll start a CCH 2.5 beta thread in a sec.

I’ll take it as it comes. It’s basically still canon :star_struck:

I had a thought. Considering the MC has a Zenith ability can it be possible to change our costume.

It should…I played the Detective hero and if the mc has zenith abilities I can’t be wearing a trench coat :slightly_smiling_face:

Exactly my thought :joy:

Well for now, the MC is stuck wearing the standard Prestige fatigues like eeeeeveryone else, although I need to clarify/or ask the MC about what the Stench armor looks like.

If there’s a change in setting later, then yes the MC might get to upgrade/change their look to indicate they’re not that rookie from CCH1 anymore.
