Community College Hero 3: All Things End (Poll on Post #1248 re: romantic short stories)

Honestly wouldn’t think stoic would run away with me if she had the option to run from the world  :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:… not that i’d choose that anyway :grinning:

Stoic is life, haha

@St4rkiller, well I spun my wheels for over a year, or else I’d be wrapping this thing up. I’ve felt like I’ve let a lot of people down by taking so long, but all I can do now is chug ahead.

@eqs189, I’m glad you like it!I played around with a few different titles but when I came up with this one, I said to myself, “that’s it.” Sometimes you just know

@Bugreporter, and that sorta explains why there are so many dumb phones around in this era. Not that I really thought about that too much, it just happens to work.

You didn’t let anyone down. I think I speak for all your fans when I say we would wait years for this. It’s a great series with very lovable characters. The only regret we have is that it has to end. You take all the time you need we dont mind one but. And thank you for such a great story!

I had the same reaction a few days ago

It’s okay man, take your time. In fact, I just started playing the game. Gotta tell ya, it’s pretty good actually

You’ve let absolutely no one down–at least not reasonably so. There will always be complaints no matter what because some start to have tunnel vision on issues like this or are simply unaware of how they sound. But at the end of the day, CCH is not your entire life and it never should be. It’s your series. No one else’s. We are not entitled to your overexertion and burnout so we can have a product slightly sooner. We are not entitled to anything at all from you really except courtesy, but courtesy is a two way street. And I can’t say it’s courteous constantly demanding more from creators than one would expect of themself.

There’s not any time schedule on these games. Everyone who plays them should be aware by now that most of the writers do not remotely do this as a career (not to mention that they literally can’t) nor do they have massive teams all working for their betterment as new york times authors who can churn out books like butter do. Even with all the assistance, the writing and publishing process for big names usually takes at least a couple years anyhow. When you surpass 10 years and there’s been zero progress or communication, then you can be a little concerned. :joy:

In the meantime, I’ll gladly bet on you, and I second @Azrael that I would continue to do so for however long you need.

In the dark, with an unknown number of targets, your best realistic outcome is to briefly cause your opponents’ powers to fizzle out or weaken You just need a few seconds!

Put a full stop after the bolded word.

In the option: Run up to the bully and pants him!

You zip towards your target, Hitting the gap at the right time,

Uncapitalise the bolded word.

Blank, the blind sniper your weekend mission

It seems like there are some words missing from this sentence.

I suggest rewriting the sentence to:

Blank, the blind sniper you met on your weekend mission

Yeah, Dark Dodger is one of us," Quickie snaps, "and frankly, was the the only one who helped me take down the Manipulator.

Remove the bolded word.

Still nothing, all some students start to cover their ears.

The text should be changed to either:
all students or some students

“Stop "Mal’ing me, and it just says, Take your lumps in the gym.”

Add a double quote at the end of the bolded word.

It’s the Gauntlet," she replies as she stretches her out in an exaggerated grimace

Missing word after the bolded word.

“The Gauntlet is usually like a hazing thing, for Plebs

Add a full stop after the bolded word.

"“Look, nothing against being bludgeoned in the dark with plastic bats, but…I don’t wanna go into the dark and be bludgeoned with plastic bats.”

Remove the extra double quote.

Tress holds up her index finger. “Oh! remember remember lunch is in an hour, at eleven hundred hours! We have so much to talk about!”

Remember is repeated in the sentence

I don’t know if this is because you haven’t started adding the romance into your writing but I expect DG to be a lot more flirty.

So who’s everyone’s favorite RO? I gotta go with Tress. She just seems so cute when she desperately tries to keep my MC from getting in trouble lol

@Bugreporter, thank you again, kind sir. Those little catches really add up!

@Sh00tzy, at this point, all of the Achievements are mandatory to encounter. You’re just unlocking possible goals. I want all players to have to unlock all goals. Now, whether you pursue said goals is another matter. I’ll sprinkle tons of optional Achievements throughout the game toward the end. That is usually a full day of work during final testing.

@HunterBlack, yeah I’m definitely going to sprinkle more romance dialogue into the prose on a second passthrough, either after I finish Issue 9, or later in the process. There is some romance-specific language, but not a ton. And romance-specific scenes will come in Issue 10. In Issue 9, there’s just too much going on.

General Question:

It’s not worth a poll, but I was curious about a couple of the bigger choices…

  1. Who decided to help the Afterthoughts instead of shopping with Tress or hitting the medical clinic with Crook? Who didn’t? What was your thought process there?

  2. I’m still finishing the Nil stuff, but who would choose to go with Blank for a likely higher grade? I’m trying to figure out if that choice is balanced, like is a higher grade an equal tradeoff for slightly pissing off your friends?

  1. i did choose to help the Afterthoughts out of empathy. (The bullying gave me high school flashbacks and i HATE high school)

  2. The students in Prestige didn’t endear to me so i didn’t team up with Blank.

  • I threw the plaque at the bully, bloodying his nose … not just because it was an Afterthought but because that is what I would have done for anyone in that situation.

  • I was kinda off put by the reaction of the Afterthought student – turning around and trying to use me to counter-bully would produce a negative reaction to the situation, just as the original bullying would have.

  • Re Blank – I answered that in my PM to you.

  • I didn’t help the afterthought even though I wanted to, but that’s because we’re in a high-level hero school and one has to learn to fight for his/her/themselves. And if the case was reversed, they wouldn’t have done the same. Moreover, it adds a touch of chaos to the scene.

  • I wouldn’t go with Blank especially because that’s one of Nil’s aim - to cause dispute between friends(at least I think it is) - and it’s actually not worth it.

Uni. I like to think that my cp and uni just ended their relationship because they can’t handle a long-distance relationship. Maybe she can become an RO in the 3rd game and mention what I said, because it’s not like their gonna change the 2nd game now. Wonder how they didn’t thought of this in the production because there were beta testers right? Might be wrong though…

  1. I decided to help the Afterthoughts, because if the
Speck students don’t stick together, the Prestige
bullies will just whittle us down one by one. Also, my
MC really needed to blow off some steam and
beaming some jerk in the nose with a plaque
seamed like the best opportunity to do that.

  2. Yeah, I stuck with the Speck students. My plan going into the class was to not let Nil divide us, so the first thing I do isn’t going to be leaving my friends. Feel sorry for Blank, but he shouldn’t have refused to work with my friends. Beggars can’t be choosers, and whatnot.

  1. I chose to help the Afterthoughts because I don’t think they deserve to be picked on. And I expected better of Prestige students, so pantsing one of them might teach them some humility.

  2. I chose to go with the Speck students because we’ve been through a lot together and they deserve loyalty.

Are we going to get rewards for good grades like we did in book 1 and 2?
