@Eric_Moser I have an idea, but first, what exactly does Blue Morpho’s reality manipulation mean specifically? I want to avoid redundancy.

yeah, and what about low-life leaping?
I cannot speak much upon the reality minipulation but I would say the leaping would be some what similar to the Hedonist and his ability to leap but on a lower level or height lol. As for the reality business imagine something close to illustrations I would think but don’t take my word for it on that case (or both) I would wait for Eric to respond or tag him in the post to ask him in a more personal manner.

Hi I was wondering is there any type of power scaling that you would like our villain to follow or any certain limit of superpowers that the villain can have.

@hustlertwo, redundancy wouldn’t have to be a deal breaker. I could always work with the winning author to “tweak” the powers a bit later. I’m really most interested in well-written micro stories!
@Dloading, well, I’d say Grade 7 bare minimum, and Grade 9 tops. The villain needs to be powerful enough to where the Dozen would be interested, but at the same time the world only has room for one Mega Cat/Superman type of hero/villain.
@grimbutnotalways, I know micro fiction is tough, but realistically I want voters to be involved in the process, and I just don’t think a lot of folks would devote time to reading even 5-minute stories, but I thought maybe stories that could be read in a minute or two would pass the “short attention span” test.
And I already have like 8 or 9 stories. 
This developed more quickly than I thought.

Do:the powers need to be really useful in combat ? Like my villain would be top tier fighter for a normal human but would not be able to go one on one with more classic heroes in a standard, no preparation duel ? While they would really shine on other domains
The main thing is that they have to be at least power level 8. So, able to defeat hundreds of unpowered humans on their own.

I mean, the Dozen has everything from classic Tanks (Monstrosity X, Low-Life), to Controllers (Hag, Deviant), to Scrappers/Melee (Flok, Shizukani), to Blasters (Aqua Regia, Dr. Shock), so almost any build is doable, but they can’t be totally helpless in basic combat situations.
Hag has locked-in syndrome, so she can’t move…at all…but she has vast powers to cripple others, and Low-Life tends to carry her around and guard her. She’s still an asset, just with big weaknesses.

They would be some sort of shaolin monk with amazing martial capabilities, but yeah nothing superhuman when it comes to pure fighting. I still think they would be a great fit for the Dozen but it may indeed be too much of a pain in the ass to work them in.
Edit: nevermind, the Zeniths are a recent phenomenon right ?

Shit shit shit! I have sooo many ideas for good villains with cool ass powers but I completely suck ass in writing😔 my day is ruined and the disappointment is endless. Now if you will excuse me I’m going to cry and eat ice cream in the corner over there.

Hey, two quick questions about the contest. First, is swearing ok? Nothing absurd, just maybe one or two minor curses to emphasize something a character’s saying. Second, is there a specific time frame our story needs to be set? Is it supposed to be a little bit after part two? Or can I have it take place inbetween parts one and two?
