Is our MC going to get rewards for getting good grades in each teacherās class?
Near the start of the game Prestige gives our character a plasma rifle as a weapon. Will there be a chance for MCās with high Pow to get a melee weapon as well?

My theory? Mega Cat isnāt real. Just straight up doesnāt exist. A symbol invented by the government to give people hope and Zeniths constant inspiration to be better.

I love all of my readers/players/supporters (in a non-creepy, fatherly way. Wait, did adding that caveat make it weird?? Gah!)
But yeah Iāve been pondering which plots threads HAVE to be wrapped up, and which ones could perhaps be left dangling. Heck, it will probably depend somewhat on your decisions, as it should, especially in a finale.

Update: So my goal is to post new CCH3 content in December. That requires me to have my CCH3 outline either finished or mostly finished (itās maybe 20% done) and that requires me to have Talon City sent off to Hosted Games (itās 40% done).
Iāll close this thread until December just to keep myself focused on those two goals and then this winter I am entirely focused on CCH3 development. I love talking with you all, just give me a little more time to clear my plate and this winter will be awesome.

With NaNoWriMo approaching, and with me realizing that the Final Monologue series could consume the next couple years of my writing life, Iāve decided to get CCH3 done.
Iām going into āquietā mode and wonāt talk much about it but honestly I have pondered feedback for years and spun my wheels and itās entirely my own fault for second-guessing myself and continuing to ask folks āHmm what about this idea?ā and so on and so on. I have been anxious about not pleasing everyone, but thatās resulted in delays that please exactly no one.
I have a clear direction (finally) and Iām going with it, come hell or high water. As to whether I post the beta updates, it depends on whether I post them to Patreon. If I post them to Patreon, I must post them here, too. Part of me would prefer to just crawl into a hole and interact with no one, but Iāve had some loyal patrons who have given me support and motivation, and it wouldnāt feel right to cut them out of the process.
All this being said, Iād probably limit beta to asking for bug-finding and such, but given the above, Iād hope people would understand that.
Okay, time to get to work. Stay Specktacular!

Donāt worry about that. Never forget that the conclusion you want to give this saga of university superheroes should also give you the satisfaction as its creator of having developed and concluded it.

Iām just posting here (if you didnāt see it in the Final Monologue thread) that I am āalmost a full-time writerā for the next 10 months! My last day at my law firm job was over a week ago, and Iām focusing on my creative projects for the rest of 2023. This is the last time I havenāt had a full-time job sinceā¦2001.
This move, which yes is scary, means more progress on Final Monologue, more progress on CCH3, and more progress on the books Iām writing with a friend.
Iāll be going from having about 10-12 hours a week to work on this stuff to more like 20-30 hours/week (Iām working a PT job, or it would be even more).
Iām also focusing more on my Patreon as a source of steady monthly income and Iām going to try something new there: writing monthly romantic scenes/short stories featuring varying combinations of characters. This may or may not be viewed as canon, so that meansā¦anything goes! Any combination of characters that folks dream up could possibly be featured in a story together.
For Marchās story, can you help me to narrow down some possible choices?
- Female MC and Crook
- Male MC and Tress
- Crook and Tress
- Uni and Stunner

As a Tactician at heart, I went with Befriend the Manipulator, Rescue Origami and Train my two favourite Afterthoughts. I really want to find Dean Tollyās Motives and discover Mega Catās identity too, as I went with the Detective Archetype, and Iām very curious.
Marrying my RO is not my top priority. It sounds stale actually, to me. I see the appeal but I want to close all the loose ends of the story, the stuff that isnāt really expanded upon in Fun and Games, Knowledge is Power or Trial by Fire, like Tollyās motivations. Befriending the Manipulator sounds like something my character would do if it elevated his own goals. He does care for his friends but is also quite self-centred too.
