The is true there are technically no rules against in in the real world, it just sadly has yet to happen.

I have absolutely zero knowledge of baseball other than that there are things called bases and Homeruns and that there’s throwing and hitting with big sticks, but I also didn’t know anything about wrestling before playing Slammed! and that is still one of my favourite CoG to date.

Definitely gonna get this one, if only to have something to do while waiting for a certain other game to come out…

That’s already more than what I know about baseball since the only thing I know about baseball is that you need to … throw a ball. And hit it…

I dont know almost anything about baseball (aside from seeing maybe a couple of american movies/comedies about it). But i also didnt knew much about wrestling before playing Slammed! , so maybe i’ll give this one a chance.
But actualy my favourite part of Slammed was it’s characters and relationships. So is this game nore focused on a simulation of a baseball player, or rather it’s more a character who plays baseball? Are characters well fleshed and romances/relationships interesting and big part of game?

I’m not too far in, but as far as I’ve seen it seems to focus more on baseball as a sport and less on characters like Slammed! did.

Does the “Platoon Split” stat mean the higher it is, the better you pitch against opposite-handed batters?

It was out some time ago, before the announcement, in the playstore.

That’s generally the theory that is in professional baseball but really, it’s more like the opposite where right handed batters usually bats better when they’re facing a left handed pitcher. I haven’t tried out that stat yet
