Could be wrong I probably need to re-read it to be sure, but it seems to be like how over here the monarch shares power and influence with the Church over the kingdom or in some cases overshadowing the monarch.

Maybe, hopefully the story expands on this sort of thing.
Iām reluctant to elaborate too much on character motivations before the full game is released (though I encourage you to keep discussing them!), but Iāll say that for now, Despina finds the PC useful for a number of reasons. If she comes to see you as more dangerous than useful, then yes, there can certainly be repercussions. And even in the demo, exactly how she treats you depends a certain amount on the decisions youāre making.
Also, @Bahamuhtās summary of the current situation with the royals and the Academy is correct - Despinaās position is not entirely secure, and she certainly doesnāt have all the power in this situation.

Games come out on different platforms at different times - they arenāt officially released on all of them until the mailing list email goes out and thereās a ānew gameā post here on the forum.

Google Omnibus App, it is. I can directly start playing, without a possibility to buy the game
The page for the game in the omnibus app should have a Try Now button and a Purchase button, and the Try Now button will let you start playing without another prompt to buy it until the end of the demo. The Purchase button seems to be working on my end, is it not working for you?

No I just can not click it, in the list of games there is also no price set, it looks like the game was for free.
Okay, Iām getting the same problem now. Weāre looking into that - thanks for reporting it! In the meantime, buying the game in the individual app should still work, and that will let you transfer it into the omnibus later too.

IIRC, Despina is 26, making her 23 when the whole fake demon portal thing happened. This means she had already taken over for her father (mostly) when the incident happened. So Despina is probably acting neutrally to the MC to make sure the MC stays on her side and helps solidify her claim to the throne rather than her cousin, who she tries to keep the MC away from. Based on that I would say sheās acting logically and thinking things through in a long term way, rather than simply ānot caringā.
Of course, there probably will be repercussions later on regardless of who the MC supports in the power struggle (I wouldnāt know, Iāve only played the demo so far), but thatās what makes it so intriguing and suspenseful.
