That’s good to know about Sam. My MC was vascillating between two people, and I appreciated that I didn’t feel like I had to settle on someone immediately. I really liked how the romance options feel like they have a chance to breathe and grow. You don’t always see that in a COG. It’s probably yet another reason why I look forward to the final version.

@Kegan_Carr MC having a chat with their roommate is definitely in the works for CT:OS — and I absolutely love the dialogue snippet you shared. Do you have a preference for whether this should be done during the weekend that MC is here (so that hopefully MC can immediately take action) or after the weekend?
@anon12679161 and @Songsmith Glad that folks currently appreciate the romance mechanism / framework for CT:OS, I really wanted the player to be introduced to the ROs more before having to make a decision about who to pursue (which I think is more true to life anyway!).
I foresee that there would be a lot more complexity leading into the lock-ins (in later chapters) based on MC’s previous choices, but I hope to be able to do justice to those decisions!

Hi folks! I have some happy news as well as a poll!
I’m almost done with the editing of half of the next chapter, which includes:
- The singles match
- The celebration (or non-celebration) after the win/loss
- Dinner with Sam
- Secret extra-scenes with Sam (which includes going to a local bar or a reprise of the rooftop scene)
- ‘One-bed trope’ with Sam pt. 1 (the first night, nothing over PG13 happens, I’m afraid).
Now, for the poll!
I’d like to rush out some content for ko-fi supporters by the end of the week (and have this go out to the public ~2 weeks later). Obviously, all of the above will be edited and released at some point, but just in the interest of deciding which to release first (as sneak peeks), would you guys prefer:
- A non-interactive sneak peek of (3), (4), or (5)
- An interactive (i.e. with choices) sneak peek of (3), (4) or (5)
- The singles match, so that the current release will end nicely with the singles match rather than awkwardly with the doubles match

I’ll take anything, so I won’t ACTUALLY cast a vote, but I do want to point out that while the singles-match serves (haha) every player, the final three scenes, especially (5), would cater to a less or greater degree mostly to Sam-rommers.

I’m in this more for the smacking around spherical objects with oversized paddles bit rather than the romance stuff, so it was an easy pic for me

Sigh!! I dont know if meeting Zverev in the first round and losing can really be seen as an upset… Nadal seems to be on his last legs

I mean, if you play well, the MC is the upset, ranking 4th right off the bat in a team where every member has more experience than them and being the best doubles partner, so, uh, yeah.

I would like Sam’s interactive part 4 or 5 . In my playthrough I have been trying to romance her (I like angsty romances ) and it ended on a cliffhanger with that kiss. I don’t care which one but it would be fun to see what the update brings of her.
Though seeing the voting results we won’t be getting it . Anyways happy that an update is nearing.

I want all those options, but having the singles match would be a nice wrap up for the current demo, instead of the kind-of-cliffhanger. My MC didn’t get together with Sam for 18 years, she can wait another month of two before indulging herself. /s

Unless Sam initiates (which it seems like he won’t) my mc will wait for California and the sun, sea, Sam update whenever that is.
