I guess you’re right. I just realised I foolishly forgot to screenshot the exact scene where that happened.
Updated cogdemos with the code that’s been running on moody for a while now–it implements the back button and adds a landing page.
@Daleko If you have any trouble with your game crashing like you did before on moody, let me know and I’ll turn the throttling up higher. I’m hoping it’s okay now, though.
Thank you, if I get any feedback I’ll let you know ![]()
i feel like this is an absurd request but is it possible to add a blocking feature or something similar? There are some works and authors that i do not wish to see in the public game catalogue.
Okay, I haven’t really been using the cogdemos site for a while until about a week ago…so clearly i missed something, because WHAT THE--

The updates are insane… anyway hats off, really like the platform and how it looks.
I am just posting to ask if the demo server is down or is it something on my end??
If you’re talking about Dashingdon, then yes, it’s down for good as the host wanted to step back. The more common places to post demos now are Itch.io or cogdemos.ink.
No I am talking about the COGDemos.ink server itself but it seems to be back up again now. Thanks for the response though.
Ah, gotcha. My mistake! I’m glad it’s working for you now. ![]()
I checked the logs and DNS was down for about twenty minutes this morning. Not sure why. I’m trying to get an answer from “we promise 99% uptime” NameCheap. I really don’t want to move the servers, but this is the second short outage I’ve had in the past couple of months.
Also, sorry for not being around much. Been slammed with work and life.
That’s probably doable. I’ll see if I can get that set up. May be after the first of the year, though.
Hello, and hope all is going well. Sorry for the dumb question, but I have been trying to upload a new cover for my game (PNG at 1000kb and again at 200kb), but Cogdemos won’t seem to accept it. Idk what I’m doing wrong, but I did make a test game and used the new cover for it, and it worked. Any advice?
Question, can you no longer export all saves?
So we can only export the saves for the game we are on?
At those sizes, it should be accepting it. Did it give you an error?
It only works for the game you’re on. That’s how it’s always been. I’m not sure exactly how I would get it to work, or if it would work, since the saves are loaded with an individual game, but do you all want to be able to just export all of your saves for all games in one swoop?
Maybe an option in the account settings to do that. Or an way to see all these games one has a save?
As some errors seem to be resolved when deleting all cookies (or just from the site). And to my knowledge that also includes all data of the website. Or at least on Firefox.
Also if I go onto an game I never played and don’t have any saves. I can see all(?) saves in the indexedDB. Same with Local Storage.
It was a cookie problem, the cover showed when I cleared my cache. It’s all good now!
