I love the little notification bubble that tells you when people have replied to your comments or tagged you with a @. To me, that’s a huge improvement over the prior forum system.
I was never sure before how people knew they were @tagged. Did they literally enter their name in the search box all the time?
Now that I’ve used the system alot now it isn’t as confusing as it was. And I really enjoy the little pop up when you’re mentioned in a thread. Overall it seems like a good upgrade however I fear it has scared quite a few users away
No that feature existed before, you could set it to notify in forum and/or over mail.

@Hornheadfan, Before I discovered the option for it to tell you on the previous one, I just figured it was to make it stand out.
I have to say, this new forum is growing on me. At first I didn’t think it’d be good at all, but there are a lot of neat things here we didn’t have before.
Oh, snap. This forum is amazing, compared to the original forum.

Okay, I was getting used to the new forum (still liked the old one better, but learning to live), and then, today, the emoji changed. 
Those eyes, they haunt me!!! Why do they all look so hyper and overenthusiastic? Why am I not allowed to express a simple, pleasant, closed-mouth, non-bulging-eyed smile? I want dignified emoji, goshdarnit!
(Yes, I realize this is not a serious problem, and that if I don’t like the emoji, I should just not use them. Just felt like venting my distaste, is all.)

I know, right? Just a, you know, smile? Closed mouth, simply smile, for one thing. I miss the old, so many more. Heck, I miss the old forum, period.
I’m scared to use emoticons now. (insert scared but dignified smiley)
