@dfabulich On the main page, can you make it so that it doesn’t have the beginning of the thread under the title? It’d take up a lot less room, I’d think.
@Cecilia_Rosewood If you play around with typing a colon and then different letters and things after it, you’ll get a pop-up menu with some emoticon options. I can’t find a comprehensive list of emoticons anywhere, but accidental experimentation has given me emoticon/icons for such things as “non-potable water” 
and “European post office” 
, both of which are, I’m sure, very relevant to CoG discussions. 
Ah, Discourse, where were you all those times I wanted to declare something non-potable?

Ack, I miss the comfy old style. This is so empty and barren. And where’d the pages go? I strongly dislike these ‘scroll for ever’ pages. Cheesburger used to have that. Eventually the browser would choke… And to find a post later, ‘somewhere on the page’, ugh, nightmare.
And no, those little number on the side does not help with that at all…

Eh, mark up is pretty finicky and weird. I’ll probably stick with pre, if just 'cause it’s easier.
Oh, wow. This is certainly new. I like it, it looks pretty snazzy. Although, it will take me awhile to get used to it, but, I know once I do it’s gonna be awesome! :D.
Don’t want to sound negative but this forum software is a disaster. I have limited my visits to the forum from several times a day to 1-2 times every 3-4 days because from my tablet it takes forever for the page to load and I have to scroll down which causes my browser to freeze up each time. And it is the same with IE and FF. And it is even more difficult from my phone.
Question, any way to limit the displayed comments to last 10? Or any number?

@jcury Once you’ve read all the comments, it automatically takes you to the last unread one. It was difficult for the first few days, but very smooth and fast now.
I hoped it would but it gives me 10 15 days ago as the last one each time
I mucked around with the preferences a lot. I get little blue pop up bubbles on every topic that I’ve read (I think that was the setting). Now, when I go there, it briefly lights up the first unread post in blue, instead of going back any further.
