Hello, I moved your post here as you may get more responses.
Sixth Grade Detective is a CoG game about young teenagers solving mysteries that I enjoyed a lot.

Hello, sorry if this sound a bit weird but i always ahve loved read relstionshio drama on the games, like ro cheating or betraying the mc in some way and having optiona to reaxt ot it, could you suggest me games that have these elemnts or similar please?
Zombie Exodus (the first one, not Safe Haven), The Professor of Magical Studies and The Passenger have ROs that will betray you. The War for The West has a RO that can cheat on you under certain conditions.
Tale of Two Cranes and Kitsune also have some juicy relationship drama. Also check out C.C. Hill’s HC wip, if you havn’t already, for the cheater ex RO!
JUST watched dune 1 and 2 on HBO. Are there any WIPS where you play as a messiah worshipped? False or otherwise ![]()
first post on here too.
any hidden medieval (non or very low fantasy) IFs out there?
I’m re-downloading I the forgotten one to play though again and I’m currently on my Knight/Medieval obsession again lol (i would very much prefer with romance)
Oh! The Passenger maybe? You pretend to be a god though.
Hi, looking for something to read from hosted games. I have greatly enjoyed infinity series, Fallen hero,Magincia saga, lords of aswickdale etc. Im looking for something medevial low/high fantasy.
In Choice of Rebels. Kinda
already played it. Well, I played the free bit lol.
I’m looking for any recommendations of games where you play as a non-humanoid: a dragon, an animal, that sort of thing.
I’ve played Choice of Dragons and Fox Spirit, as well as both DinoKnights and Runt of the Litter, which are instead about befriending/riding a non-humanoid, which I’d also like to try.
If anyone has any favourites or anything at all that fits this, I’d love to hear it! I always find non-humanoid protagonists, their thought processes, and how they interact with the world to be very interesting.
There’s not much here that is non-humanoid. Curse human bias. What you haven’t mentioned is choice of the cat and talon city. Choice of the cat is you being a cat, pretty simple. Talon city is more personified with you being an owl lawyer/detective.
Welcome to Moreytown, maybe?
Choice of the Cat exists, as does The Iron Destinies.
In Dawnfall you play as an alien, although they might be a little too humanoid for your taste.
The Last Monster Master allows you to train intelligent monsters for their future careers. It’s kind of a foster-parent-cum-school-guidance-counselor dynamic.
In Atlantis Academy, you’re a sea nymph, which probably qualifies as humanoid, but you have a sea dragon as a companion.
In Dragon Racer, you have a dragon companion and train to compete in races together.
In Talon City, you’re a lawyer who happens to be an owl, in a city of sapient birds.
The enhanced animals of Pugmire are humanoid in some ways, but retain a lot of their non-human priorities and instincts. Ditto for Welcome to Moreytown.
The author of Fox Spirit is working on a game called Hero of Hoofbeat Hollow, in which you’re some kind of mythological horse.
Anyone got rec for IF with forbidden romance like you steal someone’s else love interest behind their back or having affair with someone who’s married smth,
In “Infamous” you can pursue Gigi and Victoria either separately or in a poly route
In “Apartment 502” there’s Cal
Hello! Any suggestions for games with a RO that likes to tease and fluster the MC? So far i have played Wayhaven and Soul Stone War.
The Fernweh Sage has R (Ruby or Reese) Verner. You can get flustered by them, be tsundere with them, give as much as you get, or disarm them with genuine kindness.
I, the Forgotten one has Milon (for F!Marshal) and Lada (for M!Marshal).
Hi y’all. Been busy with stuff so took a break from CoG games for over an year. Want to get back with some good/long new releases. Either CoG or HG, just want a good time. What would you recommend?
Mind very short games? You can be a cockatoo in one of mine. You can also attempt to befriend a water horse in Each-usige.
If you’ve enjoyed CoG’s Vampire: The Masquerade games, you should check out the first two releases from their new partnership with the World of Darkness, The Book of Hungry Names and The Beast of Glenkildove. (If you’ve already played The Book of Hungry Names and enjoyed it, check out the new DLC packs.)
If you like superheroes, Unsupervised is an utterly delightful game about a bunch of teenage sidekicks coming into their own. (If you’ve already played it, it’s worth checking out again, since it was recently updated with a more satisfying ending.)
If you’re looking for games of acknowledged literary quality, check out the two games that were among this year’s Nebula nominees, Restore, Reflect, Retry and The Ghost and the Golem.
If you’re a fan of Jeffrey Dean’s “Claw, Shadow, and Sage” series or Harris Powell-Smith’s Crème de la Crème world, there’s a new addition to each (Werewolves 3: Evolution’s End and Honor Bound, respectively).
Recent Hosted Games worth looking into include Whiskey-Four, Leas: City of the Sun, and Saturnine. (If you can buy only one game right now, go with Saturnine, since it has astonishing replay value and it’s still on sale at the release-week price.)
I have read all of these games, most of them many times, and I recommend them with enthusiasm. I’m also familiar with all of the other CoG games released in the time frame you’re asking about and many of the HG games, so if you have questions about a particular game or you want more tailored recommendations, just ask.
