No all contrary @Rohie has confirmed that essence only could be in a human creature. No transfer us a robot or become gods. HUMAN BEINGS with human limited mind and body. Immortal only made us no get ill or age but we could be slain . So basically humans we could destroy everything but have no power over ourselves in sense let being humans
This was what she said about us having to be human.
Also @poison_mara where is this immortality doesn’t keep us from being slain coming from?

No offence but that topic seems to come up every ten comments or so, and to be honest probably all arguments and opinions about it have been discussed to death by now…
@Dark_Stalker how we all interpret the immortality comes basically from Rohie describing it as a way to slow down the aging process not as anything more…and also because it honestly would be stupid of the gods to make MC and Aeson indestructible…

Rohie first posts say immortality only prevent aging and illness but we could still die by a god attack or something like that. If she has changed that I don’t know. In Ancient Greece gods can be slaughter and maintain in a sort of death state. or even killed and eaten.

Aeson seems to have enough stuff already, now my mc himself on the other hand has exactly nothing since they confiscated what few things we did own.

They confiscated all our clothes and my beautiful mirror. For a supposed Csi trial investigation BUT THEY LET ME KEEP A DAGGER WITH A FLASHY CARVING WITH THE NAME OF THE DEMIGOD I SUPPOSED SLAIN because it have lot of sense. I really started to suppose that all demigods are controlled by Chronus to make our job easier or they are plainly stupid like a Mister Bean level of stupidity. Amd I think they can’t be stupid. So there is something BIG going on control our matches in training and what belongings are returned to us even probably The sage attack was suggested by Chronus… Because in the trial she seems a totally different person…

I don’t think our elite competitors are being controlled by Cronus or the traitor, with the possible exception of Sage, which would make a certain amount of sense because her father is the most likely traitor among the Gods

Oh, you mean the thing that is going to keep us stuck with our current appearance for decades at the very least, yeah that’ll be a real comfort to my mc. 
Honestly that is much more of a reward for Aeson then it is for my mc.
Probably but since he has better clothes and is much better at magic (or actually harnessing the essence) then my mc is that doesn’t exactly help Aeson all that much, does it?
Of course we very much don’t have access to Aeson’s clothes or (magic) items, so the reverse is definitely not true. 
Nah, I specialise in wit first and allure second, it’s just that strength and anything combat related are my mc’s dump stats. Mara is allure first, wit second and also combat last, if at all.

Ehh, he’d probably be fine either way with a nearly 50/50 split. Plus Kronos could want us immortal, after all it’d probably be better if we lived forever for him to use as a weapon. I mean what’s better a weapon that can only used every 18 years and needs to be retrained or one loyal one?
I’ve yet to invest a single point in allure, except for that food scene with the multicolored one and even then I usually eat the strength one.
What do you mean by this? We grow vines, controls tethers of magic, turn invisible (twice, once with dead friend), shoot flares and have telekinesis. Plus brute force body alterations seem good to me

Yeah, not to me, I’m really not going for the Michael Jackson look.
I mean every time we use “magic” (the essence) it is physically painful for us and requires focus and concentration, unlike Aeson we cannot use the essence while also keeping up casual conversation.
The brute force comes from the pain and focus and the fact that mage mc seems to be literally brute forcing the essence into the shape of spells of human magic he thinks he knows. In other words we’re probably going the wrong way about harnessing the essence currently by trying to shape it into “spells” by brute force. Unfortunately we don’t have any time to get it “right” anymore since the trials have already started, so we’ll be stuck with our painful, sub-optimal and brute force methods of harnessing it that utterly lacks any finesse.
Also though we never do it easily and without pain it does seem to have gotten significantly harder for us to actually use magic after our coma, which may be logical as far as slipping into a coma goes, but it sucks that this is the form and condition we have to compete in those trials in.
Whereas mine really isn’t not with being looked down upon by both of his “brothers”. It wouldn’t surprise me if Santiago and Adonies where always taller than the mc as well, though I don’t believe their height in comparison to the mc is explicitly mentioned anywhere.
Still in comparison to Aeson male mc’s height that we can choose seems more like a joke option and choosing between, tine, small and merely average, where all the other male elite demigods are probably well above average.

@Dark_Stalker Maybe for you a brute force as a warrior full of force has sense. My girl hasn’t force 30 is not force at all. She is totally dependent of magic the difference between before and after coma is painfully obvious for a magic user . It passes from a flawless exhibition to a toddler rant when power goes to do whatever with NO CONTROL WHATSOEVER…I thought open the door not make the handle vanished imagine if it were used in a person . instead of sleep them I could make they head disappeared AND IS NOT THE SAME. Warrior still being smae power plus a kamikaze brute magic…I have a useless magic that is inconsistent and anything else.
Mara however is confident about her allure and wits to cheat and plotting enough to win everything. She would full fill her revenge… Whatever it costs Gods will bleed.

Exactly, even though it was never effortless for the mc and we were probably going about harnessing the essence the wrong way by “forcing” it into human magic spells, we did have some degree of control over it in that it generally more or less used to do what we wanted of it. After that coma even that small degree of control has utterly vanished and it takes even more pain and effort and we still lack any sort of finesse when harnessing it.
Before our coma it takes a fair bit of pain and effort to break all the laws of physics while after that coma it takes a huge amount of pain and effort to do a flare/light spell and with that door our magic was almost totally out of control, as Mara said.
Precisely, now imagine using that kind of magic to try and alter our own body to get taller…

We circle this topic constantly. Can we talk abt something different? We’re probably not going to come to any new conclusions @ this point. I wanna know, don’t y’all have any ideas for the trials? Do you have any headcanons for your MC’S life with Athena? I rmb Rohie mentioned that the ‘gates’ referenced in the prophecy were opening very soon, but that was before the rewrite. If literally nothing else, who are you romancing? Let’s not have this discussion again.

Well the disscussion was not off topic so you can’t say other people about what they could take I have read about romances like tons of tons of sugary fan fiction

The trials I don’t care because they are totally set up and we win . WE HAVE TO BE IN KRONOS SIDE so plot armor…

I mean, I agree with you but the trials are still going to happen regardless of their utility (or lack thereof) is besides the point. I mean like, what do you think the trials are going to be like? Is there smth you’re excited to do/or that you want to see? We know that the trials are definitely going to impact your image, for one.
