The better question is who pushes who off the rainbow bridge stage? Like honest to goodness I feel like if the rest of Olympus settled the hero trials with Mario Kart, things might not be so bloody

Rohie has said all strategies could reach all endings and all success there is no better strategy than others.
However each stats and way to behave are better to one strategy and HORRIBLE for other.If Mara as Mara try to go loyal she would fail horrible. So anyone should follow their role and don’t try to forced they way to others.

I feel like a good round of Smash Bros. would be a lot more decisive and exciting for both the hero candidates and the audience. Evander would destroy the competition with Robin.

O.K, I can’t choose. I do wish we knew more abt the characters and their interests, and maybe this is a little boring but I’m really excited to see relationship dynamics with the Scooby Gang if your MC chooses to befriend them (I know Rohie mentioned getting to talk things over with Cally in the first trial and I’m looking forward to tht and hoping it’ll be smth included with the next update).
Couldn’t imagine why some of the Gods would let them, though I imagine daily life in Olympus is enough of an adventure that most Demigods past out by the time they get back to the dorms (the Hero Candidates especially).
Adonis feels like he would actually try hard to impress the Bearer and do his best to come up with every trick in the book the game can offer so that he’d get a chance to personally teach the Bearer the moves he’s learned. Maybe even sits behind them and holds the control with them to show a hands on example of how he did what he did in the game 
.
Cally would- Actually yeah; she would be a fierce one to play with 
. She would not go easy on the Bearer in any way, whether they are her friend or her love interest. But it would all be in good nature and fun. In fact, she’d probably sit close to the Bearer as they played, partially to be affectionate…and partially to distract them with said affection. She’d probably be the one with the least patience for tactical RPGs. 
Saint and the Bearer would probably mirror each others’ moves in some way in a competitive match, or argue about what they’re supposed to be doing if they are part of a team like in Tokyo Jungle. Somehow they’d manage to get by, partly because of Saint’s dumb luck and partly because they really do work well as a team (in a strange way).
Aeson wouldn’t need much help to understand the game and probably be the one guiding the Bearer by teaching them in a non-invasive or condescending way and actually being more like a young teenager rather than the Hero. He’d probably smile honestly if he sees the Bearer managing to get by on their own and being excited about it and play partially just to spend as much time as he can manage with them

Santiago would probably be all for a game on tactics and impress the Bearer with the fact that he is quite smart behind that cocky attitude. He wouldn’t teach them what he did to win though; he’d probably keep the secret to himself to make the Bearer more interested in playing with him and tease them in a way to encourage them to try harder to beat his strategy…by spending more time with him

Sage would probably have little patience to handle most games, so it’d probably be the Bearer who would be teaching her to keep her cool by playing some games that are more soothing and simple to get her to relax like Flower or Journey. It works to a certain extent and she may try to do something that can be seen as physical bonding (like trying to subtly get closer to the Bearer in some way while they’re not paying attention). She won’t be calm for long if the Bearer ends up noticing her getting close in some way and makes a remark about it though .
Psyche and Avery may not be too interested in most video games, but they may bond with the Bearer by watching what they’re doing and talking with one another while playing a relatively calm game like Stardew Valley or Journey (Psyche may even turn the video game into a teaching lesson for the Bearer). 
I really wish that was possible too; it’d be a little hilarious to see how each of the ROs will act as they get more frustrated with how to get the idea of “No I mean I like you. Like, LIKE YOU like you 
” across to a romantically oblivious Bearer. I really do feel like some of them would have some hilarious reactions, especially Donny if his flirting strategies don’t work like they usually would since the Bearer is too oblivious to realize they are being flirted with and think that Donny’s just acting silly 
. Feel like Cally would’ve eventually just let her actions make it more clear to a Bearer how interested she was in them, like pulling them down by the shirt and giving them a kiss on the cheek.

Why is Magic not really used much once in Olympus? Is the spell book obtainable yet? And is this story going to be available on iOS?

I did choose Lone Lavei, but mostly because the other strategies didn’t appeal more to me.
Tbh I don’t like choices that put my MC in a role so early on, when I don’t even have that good of an idea how things will go?
That’s also weird for me looked at from the position of my MCs…I don’t really can imagine them having any strategy besides “let’s look what happens and try not to die”? 
And it also would not have fit for my MC to choose Team Player (even when I think that they mostly will end up acting like one), because that’s just not something they would choose to define themself.
So I did choose Lone Lavei, because it seems to come with the least restrictions. (Yeah I suck at such game mechanics…too stubborn to do better )

That’s a valid argument, but I chose cunning competitor because particularly after my mc finds out that after that come his “powers” are even more unreliable now the only thing he can try to stay alive is to find some ways to “cheat” at those trials and use the other competitors as tools somehow (and pit them against each other instead of against himself).
So in short cheat, cheat, cheat and then for good measure cheat some more as that is the only chance he has to save himself.
As Mara said, it’s a bug, but don’t go around giving the author ideas as my mc’s life already sucks enough without feeling he’s stuck in a body of the wrong gender and even state of the art female to male reassingment procedures are not something I would want him to have to go through, assuming he could even get the money together somehow…

He could go Spain here hormone therapy and all treatments including the operation is totally free including all necessary. Also secure and secret ways to change your gender and name in all documents including birth documents dissapearing absolutely all trace of change except in the secret section of national statistics and security. Also of course you could adopt and do everything as the gender you are. Including go to your real gender bathroom in schools etc… Here has started to emit an American show called My name is Ash about a transgender girl… And Usa is in the prehistoric lol. Here Ash would have all documents as girl and have a public health service and psychological therapy at her service without pay. No problem to go women bathrooms etc… And even if she already can being operated… There are haters is true but legally we are probably most advanced country in world.

While I think that is how everywhere should be, I imagine it’s not just that easy to pop over and get everything covered, it must be for citizens only I’m guessing…right? Otherwise I should let some people know about this lol
Except my (forced to be) female (at birth) character would want to be a boy and surgically it remains much easier to “dig a hole” then build a pole. Without penis transplantation the most lucky ones can get the vagina made into some sort of micro-penis that doesn’t really work except for urinating.
Also female to male individuals are dependent on an outside source of testosterone (as for some reason we don’t do scrotum and testicle transplants) their entire lives, or they will not gain any sort of really masculine body.
But yeah, legally Spain is even somewhat ahead of us in the Netherlands now and of course we are both light-years ahead of the USA. Of course I don’t know how this would be viewed on Olympus, but Greece is far less trans-friendly, particularly in female to male cases than both our nations.
Of course being trans is often an extra source of added stress and we don’t know what the removal of that blocker spell would do, but any hypothetical trans character of mine would surely be pissed if it exaggerates some of his already unwanted female characteristics, particularly if it made it virtually impossible to bind his breasts.
Lastly since we went on the run before we were 16/18 any trans character who really want to would likely not have been able to start transitioning yet and for some reason I don’t think the Olympus medical staff would be prepared to put my character on male hormones and begin the process for him, as their only concern seems to be to get us to the minimal fitness standards to be able to participate in those trials, nothing more. 
It is for legal residents more than a year or any EU residents with the European card. Illegal immigrants if alleged a psychological problem if not treated normally are attended. Of course there is some wait time for operation and start medical hormonal terapy treatment because the waiting line for specialist doctors but not more few months started. Our public health care is one of the best in world because covers almost everything. It has a queue because everyone use it. From transplants to a break toe nail infected vaccines sex education items … even diabetes utilities. …
But that doesn’t have to do with game. But I am wondering why no game let you started as male or female and then decided change in game because you feel different in your soul. It could be a good idea to implement here like when seal broken trans that choose so could appear like the gender they really are. Just an idea
Actually I’m working on such a thing in the game I’m writing (not to take this off track more) as of right now if you choose your gender to be different from your birth sex I have it set up that you can change your name and the stats screen will then reflect what your gender is instead of sex. I also have the code written to give an option for anyone that doesn’t have the sex and gender the same to ask if they wish to start a hormone treatment, I hope to include more so that people that wish to have a character that’s transgender will have an option to transition as much or little as they wish.
Anyway, didn’t mean to derail things, I just thought it was interesting that a country was actually doing something for people that shouldn’t have to pay an arm and a leg just to be themselves

I doubt it is as simple as that, if it is just a question of willing things then I’m surprised the vast majority of our predecessors didn’t become at least filthy rich and live quite long, I mean if using the essence was literally as easy as thinking of a wish and then having it happen…even people who don’t inherit the essence wish for lots of things constantly after all…
Logically the time it should take to gain any semblance of (conscious) control over the essence should be longer than a year after our 18th birthday or else more of our previous incarnations ought to have managed it before literally burning up and the offered immortality by the Gods would be of no value to us as we should be perfectly able to make ourselves immortal on our terms right after our birthday.
Lastly there is the real-world argument that having an effortless, magical change happen (with the essence or any other magic or super-science) cheapens the struggles of those individuals who have to deal with the difficult decision and process of transitioning (or choosing not to) every single day of their real lives.
Actually this is why I like @Havenstone’s blood magic in XoR, yes it has the potential to make these magical solutions that are far more perfect then modern state-of-the-art possible but only a handful of the blood-mages possess the skill and knowledge required to do this and even then the cost in (possibly innocent) blood likely isn’t going to be cheap either. Considering who and what our mc is they also have the difficult choice of either trusting one of the mages who currently has those skills but is even likely to be an enemy who could easily kill us during the procedure, considering the blood-mages with the requisite skill are at the very top of the pyramid of privilege we are rebelling against or spending the years to hone their own magical skills and knowledge to get good enough to do (or wait for one of their loyal followers to become a good enough mage to it). None of that is going to be easy and painless.
Of course in some very advanced and more Utopian settings, like say Star Trek, where science has advanced enough to make it easily accessible and affordable to most people not much hay needs to made of the physical struggle and it probably wouldn’t be a big deal anymore to correct the incorrect birth-genders of some people to conform with their innate personality.
