I’m not sure in what way Harris comes off as someone who is going to follow the Bearer like a lost puppy at the moment. Harris seems to treat the Bearer almost the same as Calypso and doesn’t seem too drawn to them.
I’d love to see the day the Bearer saves a monster like a Chimera or Wyvern, and then having to explain to the Gods why they have returned to Olympus with a giant beast tailing them like a big puppy while trying to convince their Dad in particular to let them keep it.
Though I am more interested in the Bearer getting a chance to turn into a animal myself (I know it’s not going to happen, but it hasn’t stopped me from imagining what animal my Bearers would be most inclined to disguising themselves as).
This is fantastic! I love Greek mythology, and any mythology really. I was worried about the whole Essence thing because being a demigod is pretty big thing on it’s own. It surprisingly fit quite well.
But I have to ask… How weird is it to be the parents of something that basically created you?
LMFAO, my Hades!Bearer is keeping it, no matter wht the gods have to say abt it. She’s pretty much just going to be like, ‘It’s staying! I didn’t ask!’
My Zeus!Bearer will beg Athena or Hades, but she’s not asking the others. She’ll cry abt it if she has to.
If we get a pet, it’d be funny to see it treat the ROS differently than the others. Picture it :~) A giant chimera tht’s more or less O.K with your friends, and not inclined to being protective tht lays eyes on your RO and is like ‘No Thanks! We’ll pass.’
I think it’s probably her over-enthusiasm when you first meet her and that wide-eyed excitement that makes me remember her that way. You might have a point, though. Hmm. Guess I’m gonna need to replay and pay more attention to that.

I can already picture Adonis’ eye twitch as the beast purposely keeps him from getting alone time with a Bearer he’s interested in. All the while, the creature itself happily snuggles close the Bearer like an over-sized puppy and then gives Donny a look smirk as though it’s saying ‘I get to have them all to myself ’ making Donny smile dangerously as he talks to the beast in a low tone once the Bearer is out of earshot ‘now look here, you little- ’
Damon would likely do the exact same thing; I already have this headcanon that aside from taking in normal animal strays, he has actually gathered some rather…unique pets during time on the run. In fact, the most normal mythical beast he ever befriended is a Chimera and that says something.
I always imagined that if Mia (female Poseidon Bearer) ever befriended a mythical beast, it would be a Sea Dragon of some kind (maybe like a member of Leviathan’s family). You see, in many legends, female Dragons are quite rare to find, to the point that a great deal of male dragons never really come to have a family of their own. So Male Dragons can become quite attached to females of other species (particularly humans), which is part of the cause a number often seek them out. So imagining a big, deadly Dragon being doting and adoring toward Mia, all the while snapping at the human/non-human/demi-god males (not matter if they are an RO or not) it quite hilarious. That, and it would add a hint to the blood bond Mia has to Saint, who the Dragon never snaps at not matter how close he gets to Mia (due to sensing the fact they are related).
Oh, Harris definitely seems a little awed by the Bearer, but it seems more linked to the Bearer being a upperclassman like Cally to me personally. It might just be a matter of perspective at the moment; maybe the update will show more interactions to see if Harris’ sense of awe comes from the Bearer being a upperclassman or the Bearer being the Bearer.
We already have a spy Chipmunk as bodyguard. Harris the spy with his tiny eyes watching you all night … and those nervous movements like an epilepsy caffeine hamster… I hope at least be able to killing the chipmunk in the war. Is my greatest enemy

I don’t have a mortal enemy either. My playing strategy so far is “be on good terms with everyone because you never know who you might have to team up with later on.” Sage definitely hates me, though. Even when we were forced to work together for the first trial, I always ended up siding with Calypso (who I want to romance) or Santiago over her.
