I have more loyalty to Hades than her… so she has to go.
Why? Is it because of what their god(dess) of or something else? I like them both, but I feel like it’d make more sense to feel closer to Athena since Hades left MC sooner (and of his own volition?) She seems very unconditional love-y for MC, to me. I guess it could just be an MC personality thing but I’m curious if she did something sketchy/bad/etc I missed or maybe viewed differently.
Well, think about it that way: The closer to a person the more stings the abandonment/feeled betrayal. And it’s easier to forget how someone hurt you when it’s further in the past and the consequences weren’t as dire as losing everything you used to call home.
Yes, Athena didn’t want to leave MC behind, but sometimes emotions and what ifs aren’t logical. “What if she had told MC more” “What if she didn’t lie to MC” “What if she just did things differently” “What if she prepared MC better for what’s to come?” People sometimes blame others even when it makes not much sense so they feel better, or when the true culprit isn’t there to take the blame.
Also, I’m not so sure what to think about Athena’s scheming (again) behind MC’s back. It gives me the feeling as if Athena wouldn’t really trust MC, what is probably caused by her wanting to protect them, but is that really the smart move considering the situation?
I think that’s the case. Regarding the situation, it’s very Athenaish (as we saw) wanting to protect the MC. I doubt she’d do anything to deliberately harm us.
It is not in REAL MYTHOLOGY here is different. But in real mythology Athena has promised never love to be always logical and victorious. She was accused of having a heart of iron. Probably it comes because in old Greece Athena was the goddess of military strategy and victory. Not Ares. Ares it was more of god of bloodshed and wrath. Here is true she seems more emotional. But still being The victorius goddess descending into battle camp to slavery and dominate her rivals.
More family ties, I don’t doubt that shes trying to do what’s “best” for me in her mind due to the stats screen but I think Hades has more sway with the other gods regarding me.
My mc doesn’t “want” to abandon/betray them but he’d be willing.
Hey can I ask how many chapters does the demo contain
Im not sure why but when I play the prologue and choose to be a male it then suddenly forces me to be female
You know everytime someone mentions Athena as a war goddess vs Ares a god of war, am here like:
Athena: I am you but stronger
Ares: [RAGE INTENSIFYING]
Athena:
(Somewhere down the line I feel this convo or a variation of it has happened)
This is why I’m hoping Ares is taking inspiration from Mars here…
No, I mean, this is exactly a conversation in the game.
I think Athena’s job description is more suited as “councilor”. She’s more concerned about you and your image than gaining notoriety during the war, especially considering how hard that will be since Zeus “grounded” her. In short, Ares controls the troops, and Athena deals with the more political side of the war.
The confessions play out similarly to the act of asking RO’s to dance. Directly, coyly, vaguely. Depending on who the RO is, their reaction changes. F.E: Calypso dislikes vague or indirect actions/verbal cues, so an MC using that tactic to confess feelings won’t get the “preferred” response.
Though as of now, only Calypso and Adonis have these options available. Aeson is clueless, and Santiago, Sage and Avery are later romances held off until the relationship stats have more time to develop.
That,was interesting
How clueless is Aeson? Like is the only guy that can misinterpret a romantic gesture as platonic?
[Everyone else shrugs. “Don’t feel too bad MC. You aren’t his first casualty. Someone once told him they loved him and he thought they meant it in a friendly manner”]
Or just clueless but not dense? Eventually gets the hint and may/may not reciprocate?
I would say him to the face I WANT YOU IN THE BANG SENSE … If he doesnt get that i would make him a picture
Well, we know he’s been in relationships before so I might not go in so far as to say he’d misinterpret an ‘I love you’ LMAO. I think he’d be clueless and unsure, rather than outright dense. I.E being unaware that he’s being flirted with, or unintentionally saying something that could be misconstrued as romantic? I’m not sure how to specify! He’s purportedly the ‘ultimate’ RO, so the only thing I’m anticipating is more suffering
.
Prsnlly, I’m really intrigued by then unresolved tension between him and Calypso, I’m curious to learn its source (especially if you enter into a love triangle with them).
A clueless Aeson and generally very direct Calypso should make for smth interesting! All the love triangles intrigue me in one sense or another, TBH.
In general, kind of how I imagine Aeson’s cluelessness
[Though to be fair here, Garrus was already in a relationship so :))]
@Lexa, it doesn’t help his best friend is Adonis – flirt with a reputation and a fan club. Imagine someone flirting with Aeson to get to Donny (for whatever reason) and failing spectacularly because it’s Aeson :))
…
Conversely, what if Aeson is desensitized to romantic gestures because of all the fanfic he’s been exposed to by his adoring fans
So, according to recent comments, Aeson has been turned into a romace-oblivious/clueless champion of olympus. Interesting…
An anime protagonist?
Who’s the lord of free time and have no work to do? Well, not me but here I am anyway : ) Someone please punch me. Or give me suggestion what to do next smacked Disclaimer: I do not like Adonis too much, I just like him a lot.
You think he looks like Vernon? That’s not smth I’ve thought about before, but it’s cute :~) I’d like to see Santiago or Aeson next, if that’s O.K with you.
I can just see the Bearer reacting in jealousy to something Aeson found purely friendly, lmfao. WYD, Aeson. ‘I thought they were just being nice
! Who doesn’t like expensive chocolates? I’ll share. Is that what you’re mad abt?’
If Aeson gets fanfiction, I want it too if our citizen stats are high enough. It’s only fair, imo.
