As magic is not a never-ending fount, for protection in case another hunter lurked just around the next corner. To remind oneself that this act happened, a reminder of what we were willing to do, a reminder of an act some of us felt pushed towards, a reminder that we would do anything to survive and/or avenge beloved ones. A reminder that it happened and Hunter or no, he was alive once and had a life because through an angry or panicked haze it might be easy to gloss over or forget. Personal responsibility holds no balm for a highly traumatized soul and guilt can be a never-ending fount. There are honestly quite a few reasons available without having it be to reduced to a thrilling grotesquerie.
I was not trying to be a jerk about it I was talking in character. And trying to express where I think there is a continuity error in the plot . However if there is no well welcome I would certainly stop comment .
Dagger looked pretty cool?
But Aeson is the only one with our powers. And it’s the same if he wins or we win. Heck normal demigod powers are rare going by Zeus’s power description. And most of the people we’re going against aren’t trinity spawn. Plus I’m pretty sure going by descriptions we’re better than most if we go combat and the essence is magical and physical so you shouldn’t be completely useless in physical fight no matter what… We seem pretty strong either way to me.
Well, I hope we can give the dagger back to Sage, that’s the only reason I kept it.
But maybe that will do more harm than good, assuming she still believes I murdered him.
Only way I want to give the dagger back to her is through her eye-socket. I did kill him - she is going to have to live with it or die herself…
Ouch???

noté un error que el libro me puso que era hijo de poseidon y de todas las abilidades mi fuerza es la mas devil
pd: sigue asi la historia es genial:smile:
I didn’t want anything to do with either Saxon or his dagger. If he wanted death, he could do it himself. And I certainly wasn’t going to pick up the dagger once I’d dropped it.
I think all of the people we’re going up against in those trials all have significant demigod source powers of their own, plus they have been trained for it for years and are actually informed about what is happening.
Never underestimate the handicaps our lack of any actual info gives us.
However even if everything you say is true, I still don’t see why my mc should do more then try to stay alive since he will never be as good as Aeson (as we simply lack the time to get that amount of training and control over our powers under our belts) and all that awaits him at the end of it is yet another trial for “crimes” he didn’t commit, or at least has a very good reason for as Saxon was pure self-defense.
Those things are rigged so all the good rewards go to Aeson anyway and the only thing we possibly get out of it is “immortality” of the kind that either just lets us wither without actually dying or else freezes us at the age and form we’re in at the exact moment we receive it and having to spend eternity as an eighteen year old, particularly the way he looks now in comparison to his “brothers” isn’t something my mc would really fancy. In fact both of those “immortality” things would be fates worse than death.
Ah, but your honor, yon dagger was super shiny under all that blood and my overwhelming beauty simply demands that I must have more than one reflective surface on hand! Aphrodite shouldn’t have blessed me so.
is my personal favorite…
Lol if we had forums signatures this would be it here XD…
Your comments are always spot on

You wouldn’t want to be 18 forever? I still seriously doubt will get ripped off like that, well maybe you at slight chance but not people who at least pretend to like the gods. Plus magic there powers are based off your own, why wouldn’t you just fix whatever you wanted?
Once in possession of the full soul of the Essence, the Bearer can use it any way they see fit. There is no limit to their power; it is both magical and physical, breaking all existing barriers.
Even with being human, you just need to be the same enough to be able to have grand kids if you tried.
Like Athena wouldn’t we be able to choose how young or old we look?
Hey, it wasn’t taken as a trophy, like something a serial killer would do. It was taken as a reminder of what the shitheads Gods have put you through. A reminder of the things they have forced you to do. The way I see it, you take it to send a message: Do not fuck with me.
This is exactly why my Mc took the dagger - as a reminder of things done and forced to do.
I can’t bring myself to be mean to the gods with any MC so any of you god haters can tell me what happens on this new version for that kind of player??
Nyx got to spit. Nyx got to spit in a sacred ritual held by the Gods and olympians. Athena laughed. I have never been happier.
As @yagamikuuno said, we pretty much told them to “fuck off” in front of everyone. That felt good. I whish I could do anything when Demeter hugs you, like push her away or something. Oh, and it’s not hatred. It’s loathing.
