honestly! it makes the choice to kill the rogue seeker or not even easier… y’all didn’t show mercy to an innocent human, why should my mc show mercy to you?
No idea when i read Poseidon is your dad… I JUMPED FROM MY CHAIR SAYING HELL NO HORNED FISH IS NOT MY DAD… NO WAY. And stop reading. So we have a tutor @idonotlikeusernames i am ok with a so clear spy i am worried for the hidden ones. Like Chipmunk. The tutor is just a figure. Put there to control us if we dont like Saint gang. I don’t. Like Saint gang but game don’t. Let me fake so or being stupidity blunt or looking. Like a goodie hippie that goes behind him like a hound dog …
Because not everyone in a group is the same? Because he wanted to be killed? Because Sage is a pain in the butt? Because murder is murder? Because they’re not the same person? Because your friend provoked them?
@poison_mara I meant your morals specifically your reaction to your friend dying.
Maybe but the thing is my mc dislikes Hades as a dad so much that he doesn’t take the gun anyway and, as Santiago says at the party (he always seems to comment on our weakest stat), my mc is not that strong and not much of a warrior so he has very limited use at best for a melee weapon against the trained killers that make up his competition since as soon as they get within melee range he has most likely lost already and if it came to a fight he is probably better off keeping them at a distance, being a squishy wizard and all.
My mc ignores Zeus and Poseidon equally as “dads” but the trouble is that the first offers at least semi useful items and powers while the latter doesn’t, considering who and what my mc is.
But for Zeus it specifically mentions most Demigods can’t handle the physical drain of his powers and your mc isn’t really fit compared to others…
True, but a melee weapon is also useless, my mc knows nothing about combat and war and tactics, at least nothing that has any practical use, he isn’t a warrior and who knows that pill could have been designed to help with that for all we know since previously it took allure to get Zeus as a dad and Mara’s mc is/was barely physically stronger than mine, I believe.
So you’re trusting that he sent a gift useful to you?
Yeah, in fact i believe we were same strength. Like 35 or so. I don’t have more i think is the right strength for a cheerleader. My character doesn’t like fight and she is more focused in dexterity. Like hide hit and run but only if you can’t trick them use sex appeal and charm.
@Dark_Stalker i choose let the stupid bf there and i dont care him.I would love the option to sacrifice useless crap of Bf like meat shield and run. Or use him as fuel for blood magic.
My mc doesn’t trust any of the potential dads, but he distrusts Zeus and Poseidon a bit less than Hades, however only Zeus’ gifts and powers seem like they have any practical use for him.
Zeus’ pill also seems least likely to kill him of the two since trying to use the spear will almost certainly win he will still lose against all his physically stronger and far more skilled opponents, where the worst that pill could be is likely a bit of candied sugar.
@poison_mara yeah, 30 vs 35 I believe, not a world of difference and both our characters are certainly no front-line strength-focused warriors.
In the new version my mc’s strength is now also 35, certainly not enough to be a warrior.
Allure: 45% Strength: 35% Wit: 78%
Also the thing with the tutor is that she takes up even more of the time we don’t have that my character could put to better use gathering intel and figuring out if there are any loopholes in the trials he can possibly use to his advantage. I mean it’s not as if schoolwork is going to matter if he’s dead or going to turn into a desiccated husk soon anyway.
Oh my God. An update.
A tense moment of silence passed as Yisette gazed down at the orb glinting under the moonlight. The old man seemed to be holding his breath.
Then, Yisette groaned, throwing her head back. “Christ…fine. But you’re the one telling Oden. And on the next job, you’re giving me half of your cut.”
You nodded, grabbing the orb from her. The old man’s eyes lit up and he snatched it from your hands without so much of a thank you.
When you reached Oden’s office, Yisette already stood before Oden, the orb in his small hands. “Oh,” he breathed. “Look at this beauty!”
Yisette nodded, already impatient. “US currency, the promised amount in my account by tomorrow morning.”
With that final demand, she left the premises.
Oden was then examining the orb with a magnifying glass. He gestured for you to approach, the handed you the glass. You squinted, then saw that clear as day, it was engraved with a poem written by the goddess Aphrodite to a man named William Brundt.
I did not steal the orb.
Its been exactly five minutes and I am legit crying because domestic athades.
My girl is more how I could charm this tutor and make it work on my advantage. My girl is a cheerleader with the body of a greek statue she will blinking and acting like Marilyn. I was 79 allure 49 wit and 33 strength before daddy fish destroy my playthrough.
Well, I think most of the crazy theories I put my money on are debunked…but I really don’t care, because I love the new content.
I really like the new prolog, it was nice to see just how the possessed Seeker’s did influence MC’s life, really gives us a feeling how desperate it was for MC. Will the bf/gf/bff be mentioned ever again? I don’t expect to be able to save them, but that was quite the shock for my poor MC, I don’t think they are over their death yet (they feel guilty)…wait…if Hades’ trial really will involve talking to dead people…could it be that we will meet bf/gf/bff instead of mom?!
Also, Priscilla is exactly like I hoped her to be. About the traitor…hm…not sure if things are as they seem…is the traitor really the one who did send the Seekers? It seems at least like it, that would probably rule out Athena and extended her allies what could entail Hades, at least in the beginning…or he did double-play her…on the other side…everyone expects Hades to have a soul full of darkness and evil, soo it has to be someone that other’s wouldn’t expect to be a traitor.
…sooo weird theory with not much to back it up incoming: It’s Hermes. Everybody likes him and none suspect him to plan against the other gods. Of course he wants MC to stay alive, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to bring them to Cronus. Also he is the messenger of gods, sometimes described as rather cunning; who else could better to manipulate what the gods end up knowing about MC’s location as him? Another interesting detail is that the possession seemed to have a worse influence on Saxon as it had on the others, and the reason is through the connection to his father (okay, maybe Priscilla was talking metaphors when saying she felt Cronus influence…or she was literal and Hermes source is polluted by Cronus influence). Also, sacrifice and murder in the own family sounds rather classical for greek drama. And just think how that would impact Sage…DRAMA!!! (And character development) My first bet is on Hermes.
Also:
Edit: And I forget to add: I really have a type with arrogant jerks, meaning I’m very curious to see how a friendship/romance with Santiago will play out.
My favorite is still Calypso. Her and Saint’s dynamic is just great…bickering losers…by the way I noticed you changed her hair colour to black (I guess to avoid confusion over her race). Is it okay when I still imagine her with blonde hair? That picture is really anchored in my mind by now…
Allure 20 When you bat your eyelashes, people ask if there is something in your eye.
Strength 62 Your steps seem the shake the earth
Wit 80 Your mind is an active thing that never fails to overcome.
Stress 61
I’m a little disappointed none of the strategies relied on wit and strength together.
“By the way,” he says. “Your hands are shaking; I don’t blame you, really. But, it kind of leads to the disillusionment of that whole “All Powerful Master of the Universe” persona people have of you in their minds.” Stress check You assume the conversation is over, but Santiago turn to face you once more, picking at his wrappings.
“By the way,” he says. “Your hands are shaking. Also you’ve got this whole wide-eyed paranoid look going on; I don’t blame you, really. But, it kind of leads to the disillusionment of that whole “All Powerful Master of the Universe” persona people have of you in their minds.” Stress check
Strength: Your steps seem the shake the earth
Where did you get the extra two wit, if I may ask, I thought I was pretty good at maxing that one out?
I think we had a few different choices. I got the mirror instead of the colored cake so I could have been slightly higher if I wanted and I didn’t retaliate for Lucy (allure + wit}, but I think I capped it off with eating cake twice at the party (middle option I think) It’s the first time I got that description before. I always got stuck at the Zeus comment.
Ah, ok it’s the stupid party that does it then, thanks. I hope I find somewhere else to make up for it as from an RP perspective my mc is in no mood for food of any kind at that thing.
The cakes can increase allure, wit (by a bit) or decrease stress {by a lot}. Plus you can do it twice but then you can’t gamble. Ahhh… your going to be slightly smarter than my mc now… sob Though I think this is the last description anyway.
I felt ultimate bliss when I got to spit on the Gods. I’ve wanted to do that for so, so, SO long. I regret nothing. Also, when choosing how to play the Trials, I felt at such an impasse. I mean, I’m all in for the Lone Wolf strategy but…I want Sage time. Anyone who can take me down deserves my love. Plus, I’m really interested in how we deal with the whole “I killed your brother” thing. I love the new stuff, it added a lot more of characterization which is great. Although I still didn’t get to punch Saint, bummer.
