So he looks out that she isn’t trashing the wrong people but also makes sure that said people get what hey deserve.

But even arrogant bastards can use their abilities to help those they like. It just will end up looking nasty for those that are suffering that kind of treatment.

Aaaand my MC has a vendetta against Sage. Romance not happening any time soon. And Avery seem to be too vainilla for my taste so far.

If you do, then maybe you should wait till more information is available. In my experience, jumping to conclusions ends badly, more often than not.
But if it does end the way you feared, then I’ll definitely be on your side on this one.
But Aeson is my mc far too pretty brother and Adonis is someone I’m only lukewarm to and his involvement in the Scooby gang means no, just no. If the only other cute guy is a spoiled, arrogant jerk (and this is not a game where my mc has the mindset or patience to deal with arrogant, bratty jerks, no matter how cute they may be) well that just leaves my mc lusting after Ares.
To my mc the Scooby gang also likely want him dead eventually, they are just not honest about it.
Compared to that and considering almost everybody else on Olympus lies to our face all the time Ares is a breath of fresh air. You don’t have to be in love to have sex, my mc knows that all too well.
The only other guy my mc has the same level of lust for, at the moment, would be Aeson but he’s our pretty and perfect brother and he’s also jealous of the guy, making Aeson far too complicated an issue to get involved with.
Yes, but that not going to work for me in this game, not with this mc. Seeing as how our mc can also have tons of excuses, Freudian or otherwise and all of those are continually brushed aside by just about everybody on Olympus, so in short I don’t think my mc can muster or even feign sympathy for some typical teenage excuse, not considering the crap he has gone through that will most likely make whatever issue Santiago has seem trivial and pedestrian.
Yep. That’s what I was saying a few posts ago. He sounds like typical mean dude that will get a Freudian Excuse or/and a set of redeeming qualities for us to like him.
Whether or not that works depends on how far his mean attitude goes. Like…I can forgive if he makes some jokes at my expense. But, to put an example, if he starts plotting with Sage to get me in serious trouble, betray me or to injure/kill me, then no. I will never forgive or like such character.

Maybe, but destroy it with what? That essence he’s really starting to loathe, that’s unlikely since it doesn’t come with the instruction manual (omniscience) and my mc is increasingly less interested in having anything to do with it except for ripping it out of him, sealing it away forever and making sure he stays dead so no-one will get to use the essence.
Or as I said before let Aeson keep it and turn into the desiccated husk that the essence has made of most of our previous incarnations by the time they were 19, if they even got that far.
Mmm,there is a lot left to be written and I don’t know how many endings @Rohie has planned but I dare to say that we will get at least two possible paths (joining the Gods or going against them).
As for the other issue…TBH at this stage of the story I have no idea what will/could become of the Essence/MC/Aeson. Both us players and our MCs are still missing a crapton of info (thank you, Gods) to make any proper theories. (And probably even the author is still figuring most things out and brainstorming outcomes.)
But at least I think revenge towards the Olympus is sure to be an ending-option and by that time we will obviously have the power and resources to do it (if we played well).
By logic because:
-If the only option ever given is playing the olympian hero and joining the Gods that will be terribly railroading and will reduce the replayability a lot.
-And if we get the option to go against them but there is absolutely no way of winning and we always make fools of ourselves then…well… I don’t see why someone will write and code such a long branch just to put a dead-end.
I foresee a 3rd ending where you basically tell everyone that the war is not your problem and will live somewhere else in peace. If one side bugs you you join the other side out of spite, or if they both bug you, wait until their war has played out then possibly kill off the survivors of the other side depending on how strong you are
