It helps that I usually only deal with the legal paperwork and I’m certainly no psychologist or social worker, but even when it is described in clinical and legal terms, some of those cases…ugh!
Well there is still pick-pocketing, panhandling, burglary and shoplifting, but those are usually not as “lucrative” as the two you’ve mentioned, but some runaway teens have managed to survive on those alone.
Panhandling and burglary in particular do not seem all that viable for someone as hounded as our mc is however as both require a bit of time and patience to pull off successfully.
Well, if done properly the situation has a lot of potential for creating drama. And it WILL bring drama. Specially for those who want to date Sage, I imagine. That’s why can’t solve the issue in that scene. :\
As for my MC, she is usually honest and benevolent/friendly to everybody. But on the inside, she’s also very distrustful and vengeful (when given proper reasons).
And I saw no benefits for my MC in killing the seeker.
The boy was clearly mind-controlled so I couldn’t exactly trigger my bloodthirsty revenge-mode (at least not until getting more info). And I don’t really care who is my godly dad because I’m on the “I despise the Gods”-route and therefore my MC rejects building a parental relationship with any of them.
Plus, by being innocent I can properly chastise Sage for insulting me in public, threatening and trying to strangle/break my neck like a savage without any solid proof of my guilt.
And yeah, my MC also doesn’t really trust or care for Saint, Calypso or the chipmunk spy Haris. But she is still befriending them because they could be useful allies and so far haven’t done anything bad enough to piss me.
Adonis and Aeson are my favorite people so far. Future husbands, basically. hahaha
I can’t really say anything about the rest of the cast because we barely know them. Although Psyche does seem pretty cool and potentially funny. My kind of girl. I wish she was RO instead of Avery.
And Santiago gave me the vibe that he was (low-key) taunting us with his “oh look here, it’s da sooo speshul snowflake, we should use her as shield lulz”. I have no problem with some jokes on my expense but if that was a preview if his general attitude towards us, then I shall give him his own medicine.
I think we’d still get choked at this point and not solve anything but it’d be a stepping stone for the people who did kill him. People who didn’t kill him have the advantage of being able to tell a nice truth. The only advantage people who did kill have is “self defense” and “he was possessed” our guilty options are:
1.Lie which will probably be more trouble than it’s worth for her and the public’s opinion in the long run.
2.Ask for proof which is patronizing and practically denial
3.Taunt
It seems to be unnecessary extra drama created. I mean even if you don’t feel bad {me} we could at least apologize even if it’s empty or explain ourselves.
Apologize for something when someone is choking you It’s worthless. She has her mental idea burning inside nothing you could say will change that. I prefer just don’t say anything, Saying Something is stupid and could cause more harm long way. Also Like I will kill her first choice I have I am not worried about her opinion. I will sabotage her and santiago first choice I have.
Well, those dialogue options would be for before she tries to choke the MC, so if we want to stay in role it’s not like MC could know for sure that. every option would have the same outcome.
For MCs that want to avoid drama the given choices indeed seem somewhat provocative. Some may even just don’t know what to say to Sage (or like your MC just prefer to not talk to her) and some may would wish to try to somehow defuse the whole situation.
The text is write in a way even the most social blind Pc would know that she would attack. She just wanted a excuse like She he they insult me or my brother.i was expecting when i read it a stabbing scene in my character back like some sort of poetical revenge. Sadly Sage is just a grunt bullie with the creativity of a pea. Mara would be far more effective and creative in a killing attempt. She just alerted Mara of her without any gain.

I will probably do the same. And if I can’t get rid of them for plot reasons, I will just be as rude as the game options allow me.

I don’t exactly play evil characters. My MC is a nice girl to everyone (because I might need their help and sometimes because I genuinely like them) until somebody hurts her, lies to her or tries to manipulate/use her for their own agenda (aka every god in the Olympus). Then is revenge time.
Well, that’s cool for your character but other MC’s may would at least like to try to reason with her or to at least not make the whole situation even worse as it is by being dismissive against her. Some peolpe may just want to be honest without being mean? Just to relieve their own conscience or something?
I wasn’t exactly happy with the choices given when we first meet her and she attacks us. But I like to think that we will be given a pretty decent amount of different ways to deal with the issue when it comes back again to bite us in the arse

My problem with Santiago until now like we have seen is the only Latino culture guy in all game. And he is the worse, coward , asshole and uncivil. And we have seen him in half of scene. And like Spanish myself it is not Cool the lamest guy put there for the jokes has to be Hispanic, great. But I suppose that someone has to be goofy and lame so The only vacant was the Latino guy. But like I will kill him with a shield first choice I had all is ok.
Was it the one that says that Santiago is pretty much like Saint would have ended up without friends to put him in his place? Because, yes that already sounds like many people could end up annoyed by him.

Often I do like defrosting the Ice King or simply having fun with the jerky, bratty boy, however this particular mc has just been to way too much crap himself to voluntarily and masochistically take that much crap from anyone else.
Again he could also be an indication that not all demigod “children” necessarily have to work their asses off for everything they get.
