Children of the Gods (Important poll #12306)

Hm…Complicated? And a little bit curious? On the one hand Athena did raise her, but she did also lie to her in a very drastic way and my MC is not sure if she can forgive/trust her. Priscilla on the other hand is a big unknown in MC’s life, she doesn’t know her and everything she heard about her was rather ambigious, so who is Priscilla really? What are her motives? And does MC at least somewhat resemble her (Well, we know that they are at least very similar when it comes to the appereance, but what about the character)?

That is probably how MeanGirl!Mc would react, too…

Persephone is a goddess but “only” Aeson’s stepmother. His biological mother died when he was six/seven years old (can’t remeber the exact age). Aeson still is a demigod.

Yawns That was a great nap. Now let’s see what’s happening in Children of the Go-:grinning:

Sees over 400 unread posts
…Guess I slept too long.

Gets up and stretches

So clearly I missed a lot of interesting things. I’ll be right back…

…I’m back…So…many…words…:weary:

Jokes aside, I’d like it if someone gave me a ‘long story short’ about what has been going on. I read everything but…I’m not sure I’ve fully processed everything…and I ain’t going back up there. :expressionless:

YAY! Evander gets Psyche as a tutor (who I get the feeling will be a tough tutor, but still)! One of my dreams have come true! :grinning:

On a art related note, I decided to give Zeus a little attention and drew his son Pan.

…Zeus’ asexual, homoromantic, preferring-one-partner-rather-than-playing-around-with-every-pretty-face-that-catches-his-eyes son Pan (decided I would up the irony with this particular character with both his birth name and his birth father)..

Side note: Pan actually has a sun-kissed tan skin (don’t have anything to color him in though). Also he has a orange rose tattoo on the lower part of his back.

Oh, shit, still doesn’t mean my mc will like attending Olympus High (unless the way the other characters treat us now is completely different then it was before) and while he’d appreciate someone explaining the trials and his supposed demigod and essence “powers” to him I don’t think he’d need an academic tutor, certainly not Pysche, at least if it had been Santiago he could have oggled the cute guy. :disappointed:
Seems they’re still intent on making us waste the last couple of days we do have before those deathtraps with useless highschool stuff instead of actually training and preparing us for those trials as best they can in the very short time they do have left.

@idonotlikeusernames

Wait, why am I being quoted? Those are the words I quoted from @Rohie, not my own quote.

Your quote is still the quote that @idonotlikeusernames lifted the words off of. It’s technically Rohie’s post, but you quoted it in your own post which he then lifted for a quote himself, so you’re technically the one he quoted, not Rohie.

@Sherlock221B

Ok; got it.

Probably because instead of going back a hundred posts to directly quote her, it was easier to just quote her words through your post, what the system interprets as it being quoted directly from you, not Rohie.

Edit: and ninja’d by Sherlock…

PSA: You can change (read: correct) this by editing the name in the [ quote=name ] box when you quote text.

Well while he was still on the run from those packs of little killers, yes, my mc here would also have happily eaten a horse, if he could have gotten his hands on it. It would be the literal example of beggars can’t afford to be choosers. during his time on the run any edible food would have been very welcome.

On Olympus however he’d prefer other meats, only my XoR mc would choose horsemeat over any other dish available if given the choice.

Meh, I was just too lazy to look up how to do that, thanks for reminding me.

Hi guys, I’m new to the Children of the Gods forum because when I finished the demo, there were thousands of comments and it seemed a bit daunting to just jump in. A good while has passed by since then and I’ve gotta know, is Cali crushing on Aeson or are they just good friends?

i just read the FAQ and find this out

:frowning: WHHHAAATTTT??? so afterall this time i pursue him for nothing, and… he is actually my half-brother  NOOOO!!! *gross-sobbing :sob:

so… am i the only one who actually like Saint ?

i don’t even know what i feel right now, afterall… i just found out that Saint is actually my half-brother.
so… for falling in love with Saint, maybe i have a weird preference for romance
well i guess it’s time to move on, there is no way i’ll romance my own brother

No; in fact, prior to the… revelation, I was trying to pursue him, too. :sob:

No I tried to romance him too when I first found this. Was disappointed cuz I thought he was cool so now I’m trying to romance Aester but isn’t it wierd to date him too since he’s also your half brother if your Hades son?

He is not. Godly genetics works a bit different as human genetics, as the faq also clarifies:

Of course you can play your MC still being “icky!” about it, if you want…

Very masochistic of you all, pursue the guy who hands us a humiliating defeat and then treats us as his servant from there on out. :smirk:

Yes, it’s just as weird to me (and my mc too), the in-game justification is that we don’t share DNA with pretty, perfect Aeson, but he’s still our so-called “father’s” favourite son, which still makes him our half-brother, which means that to my mc making out with Aeson would be equally yucky as making out with SaInt (well slightly less seeing how Aeson is pretty much the model of physical perfection, but still…).
