There are many many versions of the myths involving the gods including
The myth of Erichtonius-
Athena needed weapons and armor, so naturally she went to Hephaestus, in payment he demanded her love.
In some versions, she become his fiance, but when discovering that he was lame, she ran from the marriage bed in horror.
In another version, she agreed to love him, not realizing he meant sex.
Either way his divine seed gets on her, and she wipes it off.
The seed makes its way to the earth, where it impregnates Gaia, the earth.
Gaia, not being happy about this, refuses to give birth.
Athena decided to rescue the baby from Gaia, and puts him in a box, which she gives to sister priestesses, warning them to not open the box.
At least one of them gets curious, and opens the box. In some versions of the story, the baby is wrapped in a snake like a security blanket, in some versions, the baby is part snake.
Either way the sisters are so horrified that they commit suicide, or the snake killed them.
The baby, or snake baby thing, grows up to be King Erichthonius of Athens, with his foster mother Athena being his own personal guardian deity.
Upon his death, Zeus turned him into the constellation the Charioteer.
Not that Rohie is required to use that myth, although it would be amusing to put a little tidbits like Aphrodite being her husband’s second choice, or Athena mentioning that it’s easier to raise a baby that isn’t half snake.
