Children of the Gods (Important poll #12306)

 Your character really has to have a laidback attitude then.

Mine is a egocentrical drama queen on the inside, that enjoys not being on the run anymore but is a little bit miffed that they are the outsider as the new one (“What? I thought people think the new to be fascinating? Or at least worth to investigate closer. Oh hey Callie!! Finally someone who wants to hang out with me ” And that’s the story how Callie imprinted my MC)

I would consider it more of a “Stoic” or “Planning” or even “Apathetic” attitude, there’s nothing we can do to change our situation at the moment, so why not wait?.. But yeah, Calypso is great, and angering Ares is just a bonus.

No idea I negate myself read those stories when I heard a teen related like it were true some false as hell and inaccurate versions of heroes and gods and worse historical people. NO CARLOMAGNO WASN’T A EMO ROCK TEEN IN LOVE WITH APHRODITE

I’m shocked you all think Virginia is an underclassman. She’s a fourth year, just like you. There were no inclinations that she was younger than you besides the assumptions that were made; Virginia is a giant, that’s the first sentence that pops up when it’s time to fight her. During combat training you were in a stadium with people of your age group. I don’t know how the interpretation that you and Haris are in the same class sprouted when Haris is never even mentioned, and that Haris is only 15, which is what they tell you when they first meet you. Also, it’s pointed out several times that Haris does training late at night and early in the morning, which your MC finds “strange”.

Also, the wording may be wrong, but @poison_mara, this could possibly your MC’s interpretation when you say several times that Athena has no heart and is incapable of love. This is said by Hades that “There is no amount of leave enough to stir your heart” or something equally weepy. Please do not take that literally. Athena is capable of love; she loves the MC and every Hero she’s ever aided (re: Odysseus in the Trojan War flashback). It may be your interpretation, but when read, you make it sound like it’s solid canon. I hope it’s in reference to the MC’s current feelings of hatred?

No she promised Never love same Artemis promised never have sex. It was matter of ironic literature in Ancient rome about Athena promise allows her have sex. Modern myths and literature love make her far different of how she was for Greeks The ruthless Athena with Nike killing their enemies and selling woman and children as slaves. The cold Athena … The logical Athena
Edit Of course You could go with a puppy lover Athena if you want is your story. But I am being canon with my Athena.

@Rohie Also about The class Or I am missing something or Chipmunk is training when Mc arrived to class and general said to her is enough Harris or similar… So I assume like she was training there she was in your class. Also Giant I thought it was a race not a tall. My character is more or less her size so She is not a Giant at all

Yeah, she’s really tall for a girl of that age, but Thora’s about 6’2.5"; Virginia wouldn’t be a giant to her, she’d be the exact same height with the cutoff point being less than an inch. Not exactly a giant for her unless it’s being considered from a general perspective. Which of course would justify it, but I’m just saying people would have to be pretty damn tall for Thora to consider them a giant.

I though when you chose to be isolated you can chose between a boost for wit or strenght you otherwise wouldn’t get. (And changed me also should give a boost to wit when I’m not wrong)

Oh, like I am all allure never choose it. @Rohie I really think you should add wit and stress to any isolation choice . I think make sense.

That is already how the options are:
You either choose to be populare what gives you +10 allure or isolated what leads to a follow up question giving you either +10 wit or +10 strenght. @Dark_Stalker either means something else or is just mistaken.

Also the other option is not biased (at least not in the way that one option doesn’t give any boosts):
Changed me: +5 Wit
Was exicting + 5 Allure
Terrified me: +5 Wit and +5 Stress

Cool, that has more sense role-playing wise.

I forgot about the after isolation choice and honestly didn’t see the +5 wit. Sad that strength was left out of it though.

Which stats decides what dad?

We really need a faq at the beginning of this thread…

When you killed the Seeker and have wit as your highest you get Hades, when you killed the Seeker and have allure as highest stat you get Zeus. In every other case you get Poseidon

I needed to kill the seeker! CURSE YOU SAGE! I remember seeing wit associated with Hades, allure with Zues and this time I managed to get the stats I wanted, mostly wit with strength lagging slightly behind but I got Poseidon and was confused.

I would say better curse the person that send those Seekers after you and to hell with Sage and her feelings. She anyway tries to kill you.

I figured it’d be easier to convince her that I was nice person if I didn’t do it and would ally with me, but having Hades as my father, one who gives something practical, a gun, is way more important, no offense to Poseidon rather have him than Zeus.

I think it’s still possible to win her as ally depending on how this whole possesion works in case of the Seekers. Both we met seemed to lack every sense of self-preservation in a way that made it seem like the brainwashing didn’t leave anything back that could have belonged to the person they were before they got possessed/brainwashed.

I doubt that there would have been anyway to save them even when the Seekers got dragged infront of the gods. (That’s also because I can’t imagine any other way a MC that killed Saxon would be able to romance Sage). Just tell her you “delivered” him from the chains of possession in the only way possible or something.

Poseidon always strikes me as an old man with a long beard. Like the father of Ariel. I can’t get that image out even if I try.

Whatever it takes for one less crazy person trying to kill me. Dying is painful. I wonder what would happen if we admitted it to her?

@bellamyb I see a young to middle aged man, with dark short hair and a beard, like someone you expect to work at sea or a harbor. Old man would be Zeus to me.

@Rohie At the dance I could play cards twice and after it would grey the choice out and the food choice. I could also do it vice versa.
