Maybe there’s a handsome Titan in the later parts of the game, otherwise I’m seriously considering a "rivalry"mance with the God of War. Sure he wants my mc dead and is quite open about it, on the other hand given all the lying and scheming going on such honesty is very refreshing and all great relationships start with good communication. 
Let’s just see if we can try to kiss him as part of our “internal sacrifice” in the rewritten ceremony, shall we.

Maybe if they had raised my mc on Olympus from a younger age he’d be more open to that sort of thing, but as it stands now, nope not happening.
True, but the only Character that I have seen do any real scheming is Athena. Reading Greek Mythology as a kid, I always loved Athena… Now I don’t. Hate. Looking at it from the perspective of the other Gods… We would probably do the same thing as they are doing now. We’re a Threat to them, yet they need us and invited us into their “home” so to speak. We know from the Mythology itself that the Gods are deathly afraid of losing their power, and so why wouldn’t they manipulate us? It’s the smart thing to do!

I’d say “daddy” Hades is by far the worst of them, with his whole uncle sham and then not looking for us, since he lacks “auntie’s” excuse of being imprisoned all this time too. So from the perspective of my he’s by far the worst of the lot, followed closely by Zeus, while I can see him repairing his relationship with “auntie” eventually in the rewritten version, provided her story’s true of course.

I don’t think her story is true at all. She was indeed jailed by certainly not for the reasons Athena has said. She is the Goddess of scheming and ruthless machinations. She probably kidnapped us for a very different reason. I really believe she twisted Zeus mind about the prophecy and we are a tool for her become the supreme ruler. My bet she did something in us similar to what happened to the Bioshock 1 protagonist to mind control us. All her love is as fake as anything she can’t love.

Our MC is pretty much at the same situation right. It’s just you’re a big deal who happens to be my other half, literally, let’s go out!
Athena promised never LOVE in the same way Artemis promised never have sex. And with love I mean any kind of it. Love blind the logical thinking so she get rid of any love emotion. So as Hades said She has a stone cold heart incapable of love it is one of her main traits. It is what make her unbeaten.

Still can’t get over the fact that “daddy” Hades conceived both my mc and Aeson in our present incarnations, so whatever else we are to each other he still feels like he is, or should be our (half)brother, which makes him less than ideal as a potential mate for my mc who has been raised to have a contemporary US view towards such “relationships”, which means “dating” one’s own brother or at least a being who feels like he’s our brother would be “eww, yuck!”.

Not before our eighteenth birthday we can’t, till then we’re stuck in this form, after that everything becomes meaningless anyway.
For that they should just have raised the mc on Olympus to begin with, since he had a pretty normal upbringing till he was just over fourteen years old that’s long enough for the incest=yuck! mindset to have firmly sunk in.
Let’s just say my mc still thinks that Ares would be the best target for his gay expressions, given the dearth of other acceptable options.

Well. On the topic of Hades kidnapping Persephone for marriage, I think Rohie is following the version where she marries him out of her own volition.
And as for the vaguely incestuous vibe in romancing people, no one is really related to the MC (except Saint who is not an RO). Even Baeson, despite possibly sharing a dad with you, is not. Though I do get where the apprehension is coming from 
Remember the pantheon aren’t really siblings but the word “siblings” seems to best describe their relationship, so yes. Just a friendly reminder.
Meanwhile I will just sit here hoping out for my Hades!MC to be okay with her dad (and for Persephone to adopt her too)

As the player I get that Aeson and the mc have a complex relationship, to my 17 year old mc, he’d feel like his (half)brother which renders him off limits as a viable romance. To my mc at least.
It doesn’t help that the only other male is far too thick with my least favourite members of the Scooby gang.
As such that seems to leave only the sexy "God who wants him dead as any sort of acceptable target for my mc.
While my mc loathes nobody on Olympus including Zeus more than “daddy” Hades. If he’d been at least decent enough to continue the least favourite uncle sham then my mc could at least have attempted to date Aeson with a clear conscience.
Honestly his “little list” of the people and Gods he hates most presently goes like this:
- Hades, oh so much, most worthless “father” ever !!!
- Saint, for being one of the psychotic stalking killers and not having the decency to let the my mc ask any questions that mattered to him and then dragging him barefoot across half of Olympus as part of a “welcoming committee”
- Zeus, the reasons are self-explanatory he’s the head-honcho the mc blames for ruining his life and the psychotic packs of little killers as well as imprisoning “auntie”.
- Calypso, for the stalker and “welcoming committee” shenanigans.
- Haris, for just being annoying in general.

I think a romance between Aeson and the bearer makes a lot of sense since they are quite literally soulmates. Isn’t there some Greek myth about how humans used to have four arms and legs and two heads until the gods split them in half, forcing them to search forever for their other half? The bearer and the bestower used to be one soul before they were split in two by Cronus. Perhaps they were actually the inspiration for that myth in the story’s universe?
@idonotlikeusernames Aeson and Adonis aren’t the only male ROs, you also got Santangelo. I don’t know about Ares, but Rohie talked about being able to hook up with Apollo and Hermes at least.

We’ll see I haven’t seen enough of those guys to actually have an opinion of them yet. However in most games guys like Apollo (I’d imagine he’d be Aeson’s “Hero” complex turned up to eleven) are not my type.
But like I said we haven’t seen enough of any of those guys yet.
