Children of the Gods (Important poll #12306)

Haha, jesus christ. Are you planning to play the loner route?

If they only provide my mc with generic crap that’s designed to blend into the background he’ll take the hint that they really don’t want him around and he’ll not go where he isn’t wanted, so… until we get some better options, yes.

Hilariously, that’s one of the reason he’s on my list of ‘characters you should not really trust right away’. Because it feels less like he’s looking at the Bearer as a person and more like he sees them like they’re the embodiment of the Master Sword. Don’t get me wrong, I actually had a laugh when he told the Bearer to get in front to be the shield but it was followed by the thought " Hahaha :innocent:. Hahahaha-I’m going to get you for that later :smiling_imp:".

I don’t like Santangelo because I am Spanish and He represents all the Stereotypes people put on us, lol I was afraid He would be dressed as Torero in the wrong outfit American media though is a Torero outfit that or a Zorro outfit. So I can’t look at him without feel outrage… Sorry Sant is not your fault It is how people portrayed us always…

I know right? I’m loving this. @idonotlikeusernames is making me feel gentle in comparison. The anger, the ferocity, the nonacceptance of bullshit. Can my MC just romance your MC? :stuck_out_tongue:

At this point, I’m feeling my MC just wants adoration, she doesn’t care if it comes from being liked or feared. She wants to actually be on top of everything and feel that she has some degree of control over where her life is going. While she was being hunted she could at least decide where to go and what to do, even if her circumstances restricted her. Now she is being forced to follow along this divine plan without any say in anything that actually matters.

On another note, and I might be completely out on a limb here, but I have a theory that something happened between Priscilla and the gods and that it might be related to why she was never in our life. It seems like they had some sort of schism, but I don’t know whether us being taken away was the reason or a consequence of that. The way the gods talk about her is weird, it’s all vague and in the past, but I don’t think they explicitly said she’s dead? It certain sounds like she was no ordinary woman though. There’s probably a reason they chose her as our mother.

The bottom line of this is I don’t think Priscillla was on the side of the gods in the end. I’m gonna go even further and say that I’m wondering if she might be connected to Cronus and/or the seekers in some way, but I really couldn’t say in what way that would be.

See, I also have a soft spot for hatemances and making him pay is the perfect starter point for that. (I have for many things a weakness it seems )

She is dead if your fathee is Hades he blunty said so Zeus said the same but less adamantly. Poseidon I have no idea His talk is so crappy sugary that I have to skip it to avoid a headache. She is dead, and has been so a lot of time . However I really think she is no pro Gods too, probably Daddy killed her

Ya feel me? The list is only getting longer. Unlike Aeson, (crazy ass) I’m not going to make any promises to protect these people that I don’t know.

Wrong gender, as I believe you said your mc was female right? :grinning: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

My mc doesn’t even necessarily has to be on top he just wants to be taken seriously and get a shred of respect, although a little love and adoration wouldn’t really hurt either. Suffice it to say that so far he’s gotten none of those things as he enjoyed more freedom on the hunt and probably got more respect from the random people he occasionally had to interact with in order to stay alive.
Here we’re being alternately ignored or talked down to like a five year old. “Do this do that”, “re-attend highschool even though you’ve already completed it” , “wear this pre-chosen outfit” (that looks worse than what everybody else has got around here), and “no we don’t give a shit about who you are/were, what you want or what you think your style should be cause we know everything better than you, but oh, hey you still get to either die for us or win and be imprisoned for all eternity, isn’t that great?”

Yep, one more thing to hate our father for.

I don’t know whose your Bearer’s father is, but if they happen to be a child of Poseidon, may I recommend using your spear to summoning a small wave to drag him back into the ocean? :innocent:

@Milk

Considering one of the people in the group wants to kill the Bearer (possibly without good reason) and the other’s first idea for facing danger is to use the Bearer as a shield, I certainly can’t judge anyone who doesn’t make such promises right away . I mean, Evander is going to at least try to get along with them, but his two highest stats are his Wit and Strength. He also happens to have a spear in his possession and be very combat-oriented; I’d figure that would give a number of people pause about ticking him off.

Someone actually told Athena,“Guard him with your source,” the voice says. “I’m begging you.”

So your theory seems possible. I wouldn’t be suprised if that’s why she’s not around. I doubt she’s dead with the way Hades talks about her though. It seems like people either love or hate her so she more than likely did something they didn’t like. Maybe she put the block on us?

The way they talk about her makes it seem like she’s someone to be feared…in their case.

Mhm, Sage took a step back and paused once I pulled my gun out. I’m literally ready to end her! I didn’t kill her brother (at first), but then she attacked me and now it’s on. LET’S GOOO!

I did three playthroughs but basically it’s in the 30/30 with combat and magic…one higher than the other. I’m mostly even with my traits though, late 40’s and early 50’s. It’s all nicely wrapped together.

Nah, I will just old-fashioned blast him with some magic…Hopefully so he falls in the mud…that way I prevent my shoes from getting dirty and he knows his place. Down on his knees in front of his misstress :smiling_imp: (who coincidentally also is the misstress of the universe, go figure what that means for future of the world)

(And I would say good guess on the father, but considering how likely it is to get Poseidon as father I will save my words…honestly blasting Santangelo should be absolutely in line with his talking about strenght and all)

Really? I feel like she’s still alive. Hades said she’s in the underworld where she shall stay, but that doesn’t mean she can’t leave. Maybe she’s in a prison down there…or we just uncover her gruesome death (I doubt it though…:expressionless:).

 Or you get them dirty and let him kiss them clean. That’ll show your true capabilities of being the queen of the universe.

What? No, good shoes are expensive, nothing to get saliva at. No matter the point you want make.

Haha! It’s a valid and important point to make. Pull a Voldemort move, take my shoes off and make him kiss em. Lucius, “My lord.” Haha.

Well again, I wouldn’t know that cause my mc wasn’t interested in hearing his “dad” speak, I just turned and walked right out after saying it would never work.

Eh? I don’t care about those horrible shoes they gave us. So it won’t matter how much blood and saliva and other shit gets on them as my mc is planning on tossing them anyway after this, maybe a red coat will improve them, it’ll make them less boring and generic at least.

If only they were actually nice shoes.

That’s a thought that’s struck me as well. It would explain how Athena and Hades managed to allegedly run away with Lavei and why the gods had such trouble tracking her. It would also mean Priscilla was a mage of some sort, possibly a powerful one, and is probably the reason she knew Nephilim.

I don’t remember exactly what Hades said. If she is a powerful mage though, there might be alternatives to death…

Yea, I think he only said she was in the underworld, which doesn’t mean she’s dead. That’s an easy inference, but the vague phrasing specifically leads me to think otherwise. I don’t know what she is doing in the underworld or whether she’s there voluntarily or not, but I’m sure it has something to do with her disagreement with the gods.

Whts behind the meaning on the stone.

It feels like a trick to cause your own down fall like with C. He was scared of the prophecy so he eat his own kids, which in true he caused his own fall from power.

So the prophecy given to the gods n goddess is about their own choices and how they will cause their own down fall just like their father. Making room for new rulers-/— like a never ending cycle unless they choice not to be greedy with power or afraid tht one of their offsprings will take from them.
