Children of the Gods (Important poll #12306)

I don’t like her so my plans are be friends with her and then betray he provoking her death somehow. Maybe make her voolunter to a combat of something… She is as dead as Chipmunk in my book

Yeah, that’s one way to view things

As I always say to the kids : “Say no to the roofies!”

@Nightgazer My MC doesn’t like Sage. She understand that she is mourning her brother and that she turned her pain into anger to protect herself, but MC is no pushover! Come on she tried to strangle us, just like that! Without warning and proof that we killed the seeker. Plus my MC didn’t even kill him.
So as far as MC is concerned, Sage can go suck an egg. And she better not try anything else, or she is gonna take a beating/ a drowning.

I have a question about Mara: Does she actually like anyone, or is she just a joyous bundle of hatred and self-preservation instinct?

Wait,so she still hate us even though we spared her brother? Interesting…this is going to be a hard case indeed.

I never even thought about sparing him,my MC is a manipulative evil bastard, like the stat screen said,an abundance of shadow…though not an arrogant and selfish prick,he knows whether it’s time to fight,to flight,or to just talk. And he also know not to openly oppose the gods before he is strong enough (or at least have the higher ground ),though I don’t know how that’ll work with a sarcastic personality :pensive:

I’m going to be such a lazy master of the universe. My motto will be, “Eh, maybe later.”

Mara likes Aeson, kitties and Aphrodite and She respects Callypso and Adonis. She doesn’t care about Saint at all.

Well, kitties do kill chipmunks…

I don’t really understand the allure of Sage, though. My MC is basically Mr Nicey McNice-Nice, and he still doesn’t like her.

Same here. The only thing I can think of is the possibility of how from Sage moves from hating MC to forgiving them/MC setting the record straight, to friendship, and then more. Like I’d settle for friends – if ever at all – but different strokes for different folks, I guess?

I’ll stick in my primarily Baeson and Adonis corner :)) (also hoping that Avery gets a solid romance option, since Cal so far seems pretty good) – like I know Rohie mentioned she’ll be getting more time to shine, but here’s to seeing more of her

I don’t understand the confusion. Everyone has a different weapon based of their lineage, and each weapon is far more than it appears. I didn’t specify the gun type because…it’s irrelevant, and I don’t kow how the MC would even be able to differentiate between specific fun models, even if they’re warriors.

I mean, look at Santiago; he doesn’t even seem to have a weapon. Each weapon (or lack of weapon) you’re given is meant to help you. Sage’s machete and Calypso’s bow are their weapons of expertise.

Also, no, the pill is not a roofie…I think. But I will say that Zeus’s kids got one of the cooler weapons.

Holy moles. Sage’s speciality is a machete – like suddenly imagining her as Rambo or something like that. I imagined her as a generic blade wielder but this makes me incredibly happy. Like if throttling the most powerful being in the world doesn’t cement how cool and badass she is in hindsight – and if ever, having MC afraid of Sage actually sort of just cements this even more – I don’t know what will :))

Though having said that, pretty sure most of my MC’s will be too afraid to romance her (haha). If ever, I’m hoping for a rivalry :>

As for the pill, still hoping for something Matrix-y like the bullet scene :))

But for Poseidon’s gift…is there a way for magic users to properly utilise it, @Rohie?

If there is, I doubt it’s as potent or effective as the others; getting Poseidon as a father is dependent on having a high amount of Strength, so people with Poseidon as a father are much more likely to be warriors due to the fact that that’s where they could direct their immense strength the best.

That being said, it would be supremely awesome to be able to do something with water with the spear; that would probably make for awesome fanart.

So far half of the “gods” oppose me while the other half rides with me. Hera, Ares, Hestia, Hephaestes, and Aphrodite clearly need their heads checked since for whatever reason their delusions are making it seem like I hit up Zeus saying, “So, when is this meeting? Time? Place? Do I need to bring a house warming gift? I’m just going to invite myself into your world and sanctuary because that’s how I do. Ya feel me?"

Noooope, that’s clearly not how the show went down so they need to fix their stank faces.
Hera, my dear has some severe issues. I mean she’s looking at her husband with admiration, while I get the dead eyed drone’s face…WHAT IS SHE ADMIRING? His ability to cheat? Hmm, I guess she’s just ignoring his children in the room with them ooookay. All I was thinking at the time is, “It’s not my fault you’re a miserable rat graciously accepting your husband’s scraps.”

So, death threats left, right, front, and center all shots fired. Is this suppose to make me want to help them? Basically, I’m just thinking of their deaths with a smile on my face, especially Hera. I won’t be helping her at all if her life is on the line.

Hera is talking about how Athena would agree with my death, knowing damn well I’m going to eventually see that Athena is actually Aunt Alice. As far as I know Hera didn’t change my diapers, provide me food, keep clothes on my back, and a place to live. So, that whole turn on the hand that fed and raised me isn’t flying with me. Hera dear needs to come up with some new tactics cause her manipulation game is WEAK.

Ares, well at least he’s not delusional. I mean he’s not disrespecting me and then asking for my help at the same time. So, I don’t really have a problem with him, but if he touches Uncle Henry/Hades/Daddy dearest I shall proceed to kill him.

Sage, Sage, Sage…. I didn’t have a problem with her accusing me of killing her brother even though I didn’t. But then I felt these rough ass muck hands wrap around my throat and I’m like, “OH!, I see let’s get this game started. Whew!” I hit that restart button so fast, met up with her brother again, and slit his f**king throat. Now what!? I killed him, so what’s the problem? Every chance I get I’m going to attack her. I HOPE she makes it to the top two in the trials so I can brutally end her life. Man, if it were up to me, I would’ve shot her in the back of her head already. I don’t understand why the hands of my character were shaking while I’m in zen mode ready to go to work on that ass.

Zeus can go shove his sword up his mighty ass because I have no use for him. He seems too suspect for me and on top of that apparently it’s either his way, being locked up in Tartarus, or getting spanked. He seems like he would have a plan to kill me right after I help him achieve his agenda but we’ll see.

Excuse my language if it’s not alright to curse(new user), because I’m not sure if that’s a problem if you curse in general.

Anyways, @Rohie this story is beautifully written and I really like your writing style.

I do feel slightly envious now…

But MC has decided either not to take the stick, or to use is as a cane. But more seriously I envision her dropping it as soon at it starts slowing her down. After all, her years in the streets made her good at hiding and evading. And at running away of course, should solution 1&2 prove useless!

MC should have known better and realized that she can only count on herself!:smirk:

@Rohie Will there be a chance to finally show off for our magicians MCs?

You at least could show a weapon to intimidate Sage… I only have a blue pill that’s look exactly as a Viagra pill :sob: And even Worse I am a girl with a Viagra pill in the TESTING OF THE VIRGIN GODDESS I think Artemis will be so pissed that she would faint out and that would give me a victory.

No, everyone who doesn’t kill the seeker gets Poseidon as their father, so brainiacs and sweet talkers get it to.

Kind of ironic actually, you’re reward for not being a killer is a spear to kill people with.

Perhaps a nonkiller MC ought to get something that reflects that, like a net, or a horse, maybe?

I know but If I have to deal with Viagra you have to deal with a badass spear that probably could manipulate water. I am a mage too and I will change Viagra for Spear anytime

Well, a blue pill, from the god of the sky Zeus.

While yes I’m sure it’s a viagra joke, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s something to jumpstart the MC’s weather control.

Which means it might help your character throw tornadoes, hail storms, and lightning blasts at your opponent.

Blue is the color of the sky, and since one would assume

Everyone who doesn’t kill the Seeker gets Poseidon as a father, that’s true. But you can also kill him and still get him as a father if Strength is your highest stat. Poseidon is all about strength, that’s why he claims you “in strength of mind and body” in the ceremony if you get him as a father. You can be a brainiac or a sweet-talker, but you’d be much more suited and equipped to have Poseidon as a father if you’re strong, since that is his signature trait.

And a horse or a net would probably be ineffectual as all hell in the long run; my MC didn’t kill the Seeker, but she’s still one of the most powerful warriors in Olympus, or she will be. She just doesn’t kill who she doesn’t need to. She will if she’s required, but only if she’s required. Besides, Poseidons trident makes it all but certain that that is the weapon you would get in such a situation.

Yeah, I thought the same However, my character thought Zeus give her Viagra for real like an insult to her, like you are a bitch in the virgin test

You’re still expected to kill some(one)thing, I doubt a net would help in
the face of danger. Unless you’re battling Sirens. Also, there is no
correlation between killing Saxkn and your weapon; you get one regardless.

A holy nun wouldn’t turn down a sword when faced with a beast, right?
