@RanchoJoe He was also the god of plagues.
And love turn people in plants of becoming them alucinogen full-time visionaries
Mhm, he had a lot of bad luck in the love department. He insulted Eros so Eros shot him with a love arrow and Daphne with a lead arrow making her hate him. She begged for Gaea to save her so she turned into a laurel tree.
How come I have never realized those stats??
Oh well I’ll guess I’ll replay it all again.
Oh. Well, @Lithophene did, too, and that was the person I remembered. My bad! >>;
BUT @Rohie has already changed the relationship blurbs ;D
I remember when I first played this game I thought choosing the eye color corresponds to who your parent will be.
So I choose “Burnt amber, the same hue as the melted gold of Hephaestus’s welded metal.”. Because Hephaestus seems like good Daddy material. I got so frikin mad when Poseidon showed up and told me he was my dad and I was like “NO! I’m not gonna be another Percy Jackson”
I wonder what kind of parent Hephaestus would be like?
Is it normal to love the characters more each playthrough?? I am so attached.
I though the same thing when I first played too.
Except I chose blue eyes, so I was expecting Poseidon and was confused on the second run since I thought I would be getting Hephaestus (I was actually wanted him as a father; hopefully we can be bros instead).
Beautifully set up- extremely intriguing! Cannot wait for the rest… gah!
Morality: You tend to lean toward the light.
Allure: More often than not, it takes more than a simple ‘please’ to get your way.
Strength: It’s best to avoid situations involving this skill.
Wit: Your.
Stress: Your hands often shake.
My wit was at 79. So I guess the stat page is speechless.
Or Athena didn’t want someone implying you were smarter than her, and she knocked the writer out.
Lmbo at the strength but you MC way smarter than mine ( shrug).
How strong is Calypso because when sparring with her, my MC thought he had her down, and she cut him, so MC should never get on Calypso bad side without the Essence otherwise he’s going get his ass kick, huh.
I’ll take the liberty in filling that gap with “Your thoughts fly at such a frantic pace that your words (and this stat description) cannot hope to keep up.”
@AwkwardNature That outcome doesn’t necessarily have to be based on Calypso’s physical strength. As a child of Ares and trained combatant, I’d imagine her Combat stat is very high and is the main cause of her outplaying your MC
Evander has had strength 45-50 in different playthroughs and always been combat-oriented, but he still loses against Cally despite it, so i get the feeling you lose not matter what in the beginning. But as @RanchoJoe says, she’s the child of the God of war and has been more formally trained in combat from Olympus trainers (and likely her own father) compared to the Bearer, who was likely self-taught in most of their skills.
That smile she gives before finishing the match may have been a sign of approval of the Bearer’s intended tactic (one she clearly knew about). Or it could also have been to disarm the Bearer with a slightly teasing/playful expression (in a fighter’s playful way)
. It’d be funny if it turns out that training and giving you a sound beating in the combat ring (all while smiling) is a Ares’ child way of saying they like you.
Thanks😀, true. Still MC never going to try to get on Calypso bad side her and her dad hating you, won’t be really good at all lol.
And thanks @RanchoJoe @Okami-Nora , getting use to the knowledge about the Gods and so. Since my dad is a very strict “Christian” in some ways and I was never allowed to know about them otherwise he would think I’m worshipping them and selling my soul or something:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
If my dad knew I was play this game he would flip, he flip when I was playing Zombie Exdous, but I’m technically a legal adult know so (shrug)
My MC’s aiming right at Ares’s buttons by dating Caly
And that’s a shame about your dad. I come from a fairly strict Catholic family myself but we treat mythologies as parts of world history, things did and believed in in the past
that’s what my MC doing lmbo but I’m still going flirt with Aphrodite when ever possible, just hoping Calypso doesn’t mind or find out. I’m a horrible person lol
Word, thanks😳. But I have ways to get around him. Just idk how he gets to watch possession movies and I can’t play a simple game ( simple not in a bad way, because this game great. But it no way near the stuff he watch’s😄).
Eh, I feel like Aphrodite gets a special pass since it’s likely nigh-impossible to not be attracted to her.
Your MC and mine’s clearly have intense death wishes
. Too bad for Ares though; he can’t kill the Bearer without risking half the gods anger and the death of Aeson (who’d probably have a snark about the fact the Bearer got interested in the daughter of the PERSON WHO MAKES HIS APPARENT DISLIKE OF THE BEARER VERY OBVIOUS). On the opposite side, I can see Hermes embarrassing his daughter a bit if he ends up learning that she’s grown a crush on the Bearer.
That really seems unfair (and pretty unreasonable), especially since the mythologies can give insight on the pasts of different cultures’ lifestyles and views toward life and their personal faith.

Definitely hope so:joy: otherwise that’s going to be my argument with Calypso lol. Otherwise I’m going back to hiding lmbo
