Wether she becomes a hunter or not probably depends on if she falls in love with your or not. Cause hunters can’t fall in love
Just saw that it says Ares is Zeus and Hera’s only son but then it says that Hephaestus is as well @Rohie
Oh, so when I picked my height as a male character, I said I was tall and it told me I was 2-3 inches taller than 5’5. While that’s tall for women, that’s still fairly short for men (Tom Cruise, for example, who is considered to be short, is 5’7). If it hasn’t been changed already, can I suggest maybe rewording it to be “you are now almost a full head taller” or something? That keeps it vague and so the reader can imagine whatever they think is tall. Or, you could change the option to “taller and athletic.”
@RyseAbove Can’t go into too much detail with the Romances because they tie into the later plots. Caly is definitely one of the more complicated ROs.
@Waywalkerlover The Hunters of Artemis can fall in love. They just can’t act on it because Artemis forbids romantic relations. Besides, Calypso hasn’t even started the initiation process
Oops. Sorry. I’ll fact check before I make a sleep addled post.
@NotGoingToGiveUp, there’s a peen joke waiting to be made but of that comment but oh well.
@Rohie, back on the parentage topic. While we can probably guess how Hera and Amphitrite might react – given how unfaithful their husbands generally are, and that they do have a lot of children out of marriage – I’m really really curious about how Persephone and Hades will handle this. Unless we’re counting the Minthe incident from Ovid but other than that, do they have a (relatively) happy marriage? Depending on the parents, will the MC cause marital drama that way?
And if so does this tie in with the tests from the gods? I imagine at the very least, if Zeus was the father, Hera would be much harsher on the MC than one who wasn’t fathered by him.
(I’m sorry if this is ramble-y but I just have a lot of thoughts)
I read several alternate views on Hades and Persephone’s marriage from several myths to set their relationship for the story. All I can say is that Hades loves Persephone, and she loves him.
Edit: for the second question, only certain Gods will let their feelings towards you interfere with the Trials. But no, mariage and relationships shouldn’t influence the Trials too much.
This is interesting. I wonder what this means for Athena though.
In any case, can’t wait what a trial would be like! I hope it’s not as bad as the 12 Labours, unless we get to meet Cerberus. Giant dog monsters are still dogs, so to me at least, still very adorable…fudge nuggets, headcanonly, if MC is close with Hades/Hades is their dad, they get a puppy out of Cerberus. Like can you imagine:
Hades: I’m sorry for disappearing for a while. So while this might not make up for it, I got you a gift.
MC: ???
Hades: //brings out a three headed puppy// I got you a dog
MC: !!! Yes. All is forgiven. //takes dog
Love love LOVE the update. It explained a lot of things and it was very easy to follow. My heart goes out to unca Henry and damn, aunt Alice. What a plot twist. Like I had an idea who unlce Henry was, but aunt Alice just blew me away. I now see what you mean by me killing the brown-haired guy would affect who I am. Coolio. I also noticed that you removed some things in the stat screen. Anyway, I am so excited for this and how it’s going to play out. I also look forward to meeting the other characters. Good luck! Loved it!
@Rohie I was wondering if we would be able to change our views of the Gods after the summoning? Now that we know you’re just a tool to them.
Absolutely. You’ll have plenty of options to change how you feel about the Gods. Some instances will make you see that they’re not too bad, but others will most likely lead you to hate them again.
My main character would hate them no matter what they do, she hated them so much. However, She is ruthless and intelligent, so with her allure she would want pretend being more involved and friendly with them until she gets her immortality, after that she would destroy all of them and the fate. She would-be allowed to pretend or is currently configured like you only could say the truth and if you saying oh, i like you now. Game thinks i really like them?
I just really want the chance to punch Hera in her smug stupid face ughhhhh I don’t like her!!!
I kinda wanna kill all of the ones who want to kill me
. The others I could care less.
@poison_mara My mc is definently like that as well. Minus killing all of them of course. I’m guessing you chose to kill the hunter? I did.
No actually my character is pretty chill and on the good road. It’s only hera that I really hate and maybe ares. But my characters charisma and charm will him over I’m sure of it
Yeah I made my mc chill in the beginning too. Till they found out they were only born for one reason. She isn’t very fond of being used as a tool. Nor does she really appreciate being hunted lol.
Aries doesn’t seem fond of words. But who knows? I just really want to kick his ass
My character was really nice and happy as a child, with her aunt and that. She loved studying magic with her and being a cheerleader.
Suddenly, all that ended and she has to start running scared and alone, totally helpless. The only person who was always with her gone. Like her mother, like Henry… Everyone whom she loved, gone. And the only she knew was that the gods did it. They destroyed all her live just because her mom banged one. So she just thinks "Why are so cruel to me? If they want me dead or with them why just don’t kill me or use magic teletransporting. The all hunting is just a sport for them. "
So yes, she kills the damn hunter, and will kill them all, She would have her revenge.
And now she discovered Aunt and Henry were just a LIE TO CONTROL HER. Nothing in her life was real, all was controlled by the gods. She was never free, she is just a slave for them. So she would take her revenge for all the lies.
I know @Rohie prolly won’t let us but I want to frame Hera. Get her to bed some hunk mortal and then expose her to Zeus … that would be my thing
Feelings for this would probably change depending on where the story goes:
My MC isn’t overtly fond of the gods, but is willing to give them the benefit of the doubt in the mean time. I mean, she doesn’t really know what’s up and would rather find out all she can before making any decisions. There are just too many questions she doesn’t know and a lot at stake. She’s willing to put aside her personal feelings aside though for the greater good – should it really boil down to that.
At least for now.
From the get go though, she’s largely unconcerned about the gods. They’re kinda like a far off figure in her life since she’s pretty much on the run from the Hunters. She cares less of who they’re following and more on that they should stop making her life terrible. If it’s a god, then that god will pay – after all she’s still not entirely sure if it’s by their orders if it’s because of a rogue cell.
Though, after meeting the Calypso and the ones in the first chapter, if they actually just told her properly, she might’ve been more okay with them. At least in what they were trying to accomplish. So this is why she’s more friendly towards Saint than Calypso, because he actually talked to her first, without the aggression.
Anyway, now finding out about things, she’s really lost and ambivalent. Like she really doesn’t know what to do or feel. At the very least, she’s happy she has her Uncle Henry back, like she can forgive him more than her aunt (because her aunt just straight up disappeared, at least Henry tried saying goodbye or told her instead of going off alone – and if he’s really her father, at least she knows he’s trying/tried).
And with the reveal of who Alice really is, this passage really feels like gaslighting (after MC tells her that she feels like she’s being stalked by the Seekers/Hunters): “I knew it was a mistake to tell you so much about the Gods,” she said. “Look at how paranoid you’re being.”
And she’s really not happy with that at all. So Athena your move :))
[sorry for the long reply, I have a lot of feelings ;A:]
That’s pretty much my MC, with the only difference being that mine’s a guy o_O
So first thing I am really enjoying this game a lot can’t wait for more second what does being tall and curvy mean to a guy since I get being six foot which is cool because I’m that height but what does the curvy part me since I don’t think guys can get curves of any kind so I suggest changing that to something maybe just being way taller and normal since there is already tall and athletic, short and muscle and small and lithe/thin.
Also will there be different magic abilities and ways to approach combat with spells and wits since I like making smart magic users.
