I think that’s a solo path thing. Otherwise your fellow castaways would keep you grounded. Honestly though after a few years it’d probably cone down to random sex, fighting, and depravity from boredom alone.

Depending on how long I extend the game (and other in-game things) that might be factored in! The thing is you’ll generally have other characters around - so it’ll be difficult to get to that stage even if you’d want to!
Now I’m imagining a perspective change twenty years in a new group gets washed ashore and one of the survivors is drug to the cave of your now cave person character grunting and acting like an animal.

maybe have an option where the mc is already living on the island and never knew of the other inhabitants, and became feral

I’m working on a play through. I love a shipwreck concept. 
There was an instance of Alex being referred to as “their”, and I thought he was NB, for a moment. I forgot to record where it was. :-/
I voted to split up the group on the first full day, but Jax is with us when the primitives caught us.

Quick note! I’ll be overhauling the prologue and extending the time between the current prologue and Chapter 1. Until I complete at least the prologue, the game won’t be updated! Stay tuned

As long as my college professors would like to give me! I have multiple assignments due each week and I’m already not doing too hot! 
That’s… very interesting. I’ll think about it and see what I can do? I’d have to add at least 2 ROs for that so there are more options for others - on top of that I’d feel like it’d be a little douchey of me to throw someone into a situation where’s there’s 11 romantic candidates and they already have an SO.
Aaand there would be no time story-wise unless I made this book into a series, which, I admit I’m already considering.
