# Can't get ChoiceScript to start

I have downloaded it and it said I should open it in Firefox but I am lost because it won’t let me open it at all and I am really wanting to make a Choice game

Have you read [http://choicescriptdev.wikia.com/wiki/A\_Basic\_Tutorial](http://choicescriptdev.wikia.com/wiki/A_Basic_Tutorial) and the other wiki articles? You do your code-writing in a text editor.

yes I have,still can’t get it to work. Says to extract the zip file when there is no zip file

Where are you downloading from?

Try reading the tutorial while coding scenes at the same time. It helps when trying to wrap your head around the concepts.
