Right… this is one bug I probably would never fix until it’s almost time for release, because:
- It would allow MUCH easier testing…
- I already found a way to deter this, but I choose not to for now…
- You can choose to have a fixed outcome by using the non-randomized settings
But isn’t this a privilege for the people who have been of immense help to you?
All I did was just point out 2 bugs. It really isn’t anything groundbreaking.

Well, I wasn’t exactly serious about making yours … but if you want me to make it for you, I probably will. seriously, yours is much easier to make than @Voldy’s chrome black skull mask… I actually don’t have that much to do between writing sessions…
Honestly, the time I spend making the game is 10% talking to myself, 20% watching youtube, 60% browsing memes, and 10% actually writing something… most of the crazy shit I come up with comes after I snort 800 kilobytes of dank memes and a couple of neebs gaming and achievement hunter videos…
I wasn’t joking about making @Voldy’s mask though. He’s been a fan of this game and have been the inspiration for most of the crazy stuff in the game. I.e: a few of the melee weapons in the game…
So it’s the least I could do

I’m still not sure whether it should be my official mask or if I should start brainstorming something more creative.
I don’t know, I guess I see the mask you wear as more than some glorified canvas. I feel like your mask should adequately represent what your character is, what they’re like. That’s one of the reasons why I like @Voldy 's mask so much: I feel like a mask that complex will definitely resemble his character.
But maybe I’m not giving my mask credit where it’s due. Maybe there is a deeper meaning behind that simplistic design. Maybe I just need to find it. Or maybe there isn’t, and it’s just a white mask with a giant black X on it.
I guess only time will tell whether I stay with the mask or not.

Hello again! Thanks for fixing up the looping after the first heist. Another error, I think
This is after FBI called me the second time after the first heist, went informant, didn’t tell him any crew information and told him it was me that went after the ATMs.
A mask should not represent the person who wears it… it should represent the idea they hold dear to them.
Gabriel’s mask is simple… and everlasting smile. Rumors say his mask used to be white, an innocent colour… and that the red smiley around his mouth and eyes are actually the blood of those he kills… it represents his belief, that a person can be both gentle, protective, and caring… but also brutally mental, deranged, and psycopathic.
But when you look at it it spells one thing… creepy…
It’s not just the mask… the background should also carry a meaning…
Gabriel’s has his meaning in his mask… while the surrounding background is plain black…
While Michael is exact opposite. He has a simple black mask with a yellow fleur de lis. But the real message lies in the backgrounds…
Either way, if you want me to make it, just say so and I’ll find the time…

Ok, so I think I found some sort of meaning to my simple mask.
Usually, whenever I’m talking to someone, I always pick the silent options (I know I’m missing a butt ton of information that way, but I just like to roleplay my character as a mostly silent person)
And the mask has a giant black X…but they didn’t specify where the giant black X is on the mask (at least I think they didn’t)
So maybe the giant black X would be on the part of the mask where the mouth is supposed to be, to symbolize that he’s a quiet person?
It ain’t the best message, but it’s the best that I got.

@AAO Oh, you like my mask? Well, that’s awesome. I thought it was simple, as well, though. I agree completely with what @MichaelMaxwell said, it should represent the wearer’s ideas/beliefs, not just the wearer.
So the meaning of it is this:
The mask itself was originally going to be white, to represent the “light” if you will, the hope for the future that is lost deep inside my character. Which is why it is now chrome; he is hardened. That hope has been turned into steely rage, anger at the world for being the way it is. It in a way represents how use to the brutality and cruelness of the modern world he has become, as well.
The black skull painted over is the dark demon that’s always been inside him beginning to tear it’s way out of him. This is why the entire mask isn’t just a black skull; it doesn’t have complete control of him, but he fears it has already made it too far out, regardless. It represents the death that it brings upon his enemies, having an appearance of Death itself. It is the embodiment of all his inner rage and self-hate. It is meant to scare, but also to symbolize, that he needs saving. Maybe Mouse is the only thing that brings him happiness. Or maybe, just maybe, he needs to let that demon out fully. Let it release all his rage and eventually kill itself instead of just letting it fester inside of himself and gain even more power over him. Who knows? All I can say for certain, is this:
I fear the day it may entirely consume him, and turn him into something he was never meant to be.
