I’ll be doing my private test at the end of october, Since it’s the only free time I get from work. With that in mind, I’ve made the outline for the whole thing. It will have 6 chapters, excluding epilouge + prolouge, 3 small jobs and 2 big jobs, 6-7 different romance options (All with different personalities and orietation), fully costumizable character, weapons, vehicle, and even your own helicopter if you’re lucky enough, 6 endings with 1-3 variations per ending, and a shit ton of vioelnce… and that’s the toned down version…

Considering all of that… I’m gonna have a LOT of work to do, and I’m guessing I’m gonna be done at either summer of next year, or the start of winter next year…

Btw… what’s Cataphract? I know they’re a sort of cavalry, but… what exactly do you mean by “Advice”?

Cataphract is one of the of the hosted authors here and he already writed 3 games from 2 different series for COH. he is one of the most experienced authors at this website.

Currently running into a huge lot of problems. Terribly sorry for the delay. School caught up to me, and so did relationship… none of both are helping…

But I assure you, the wait will be worth it… I’ve gone through the the customization options, on how far can you customize things. Well, let’s just say… it’s like GTA V… only without the amazing graphics, and billions of dollar profits… I’ve managed to find the fine line between free-roam and story driven… hopefully…

The gameplay feature is almost the same, save for the free roaming, changing between MCs, and the amazing story. You get to pick your own gun, customize your own gun, pick your own crew, customize your own crew, plan the robbery yourself, pick a getaway, handle the mob, and escape with your life… or if you’re an informant… get the bad guys…

In addition to making the game feel less linear, I’ve made most of the encounters in the game random, but controllable through the control panel at the start of the game (not yet implemented).

For example: each time you go and visit Gregory to buy something, there’s 12 different variation of how he’s going to greet you. He could be in the middle of a phone call, he could be talking to another customer, he could also be busy and his assistant is there instead…

So yes… I have a lot to do, but thank you for supporting me!

When talking to Gregory choosing the “Say nothing”, “about your services”, “what about these ‘services’ of yours” or asking asking “are you a priest” then “tell me about the mafia” causes the game to crash.

Even with cheats you can still fail. due to needing natural 20 and Having strenght 1 - 2 for it being hard.
so i suggest upping luck to 30 on cheating, we are already cheating. we can thefore go further.
rather that being forced to pick cheat and then add another 10 luck to the difficulty…

also i suggest changing money more to 10 Milions.
Hell just have cheater-light
and Cheater-Extreme variants.
its just changing some numbers(because you build amazing system man)

And The 42 Thing killed me. Gabriel sure is unfazed.
OKAY THE PET KILLED IT FOR SURE.
i mean for fucks sake. Gabriel is the plant imho.

I was thinking about making the cheatsy doodle difficultly easier, and making the hell difficulty a lot harder, so yeah, I’m gonna tweak it a little bit…

And thanks! glad you liked it! I like having the whole story grounded to reality, but I wanted characters who are detached from their stereotypes, Gabriel is like the person who stalks you and makes sure you know he stalks you.

Plus, real life is like penguin sex, cold and weird… so I thought I’d splash in a couple dozen characters to make it exciting and different. I mean come on, you don’t expect to rent a cheap apartment and not find something broken, so you bake a cookie to make things alright. Also, fun fact, Gabriel baked those cookies himself… he has a particularly unusual set of skills for a bank robber…so he’s not JUST a bank robber…

No one in the story is JUST something… kind of corny way to say “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”…

If i may advice you get some Corrector, the text and the story and the narritive is amazing.
The grammar throught puts it down a lot.

Wow, seriously, this is my first COG game, Hell this is my first time committing to making my own story let alone writing. and to have you say something like that really means a hell of a lot to me. I do have a corrector but it’s voluntary so I’m doing the best I can without loosing my job again or not sleeping spending my nights staring at a whiteboard trying to think of a script for the game…

So, thank you very much… but seriously, this is my first time making my own story, and I’m just writing to make the universe inside my head come to life… because a friend of mine said that “If you like your own world so much, tell everyone about it”… this is my universe, it’s not perfect, but it’s something Thank you for reading

Honestly you are really able to make character come alive with all their quirks This IMHO is your biggest strenght,The Pickle jar ? The toilet broken ? seriously stuff like this is minor very minor but it makes world really come alive. BTW ask around this community im sure you will find few more editors. There is load of people glad to help. You just have to let them know.

I already have one, but I sure need another if this game is as big as intend it to be. So far I’m the only one writing the plot, dialouges, and codes themselves because I don’t want to bother anyone else and pretty much I’m gonna have to explain how this world works because…

it’s not just one BIG thing, it’s a combination of a WHOLE LOT of little things… and I think that’s what I’m good at, so thanks… yeah, it’s always the little things that makes things seem so big… you can’t make something huge without something small to compare it to

Got to finish the demo after the issue was cleared up and all I can really say is I honestly cannot wait to get to play the final product, it was thoroughly enjoyable and actually gave me a bit of a laugh so keep up the good work.
