Loved the escape i actually walked right out the front door.
One thing that keeps bugging me though, how the MC was captured and interrogated didn’t seem like police protocal. It made me feel like it was a test to see if my MC would talk. Now I don’t know if that was what you were going for, but i thought of a way to maybe spice up the interrogation.
If the MC is The Mouth (has high charisma), you could have a choice of stating police protocols.
For instance when you ask for a lawyer and they say no, you could have a choice to talk about how they didn’t even tell you your miranda rights and anything you say from now on is inadmissible.
Or, when they talk about searching your house you have the choice to talk about shearch and seizure.
But, in the case you don’t want to do to deep into the law jargen how about just an option to try and charm one of them to let you go. That could even be an opportunity to discuss the MC’s sexual orientation. But since the goal is still to get locked up at the end of the interrogation, you could have the MC try to charm one of the interrogators but by the end have the other one ultimately shut the interrogation down and have the MC tossed into the holding cell.
Also for the rolling dice machanic, i don’t really like how the game just ends if you lose on a roll, could it be possible instead of just ending the game the MC’s health just decreases? That way the reader can still progress with the story without having to restart the game because of a bad roll.
@Megus
I thought I did have Anthony (The FBI man) show the MC the search and seizure permit fromt he judge… I’ll sure look into it.
I was outlining the interogation on the MC will always end up in the holding cell, no matter what. I’m gonna revise the interogation scene again, because there’s an error on some of the actions the MC chooses. might add a few things…
As to how the police behaves, I don’t have that much experience the FBI but I am familiar with police detainment procedures. I wanted to paint a clear picture that the MC is very much so wanted by the FBI. I have to admit, I have no clue how an FBI detainment procedure works. so forgive me…
As for the Rolling mechanism, mostly, you’re only supposed to meet a dead end (sometimes litteral) if you critically fail (getting a natural 1). There actually is an HP system, and it’s implemented the first time you get shot in the prolouge, if the blood level reaches 0, you die of blood loss… each gunshot is +1 wound, each wound adds more to bleeding…
I have no idea what’s happening, and why, but whenever the game looses a roll, it keeps recognizing it as a critical fail… I’m trying to figure out why…
Oh no, not that part. That part is fine just as it is.
It’s just the pics below. The first says you leave the pistol where it sits, then the apartment with just the leather jacket on (I mean, of course, with pants and a top, and not just the jacket)

After the attempt at Al’s place, and intervening with his untimely death, you’re walking off the street with a gun tucked underneath your clothes.(See pic. below)
But you left with just your jacket, remember? So I thought maybe you picked the gun the unfortunate robber dropped, but if that’s the case shouldn’t there be two guns with the officers when they present evidence against you. Though, they did seem like they were more focused on getting wind on some other crew members, so maybe it was disregarded, or so I think.
I’ve been wondering where the hidden gun came from.
Extra:
lol, I think you misspelled Bus stop, with Bust stop
I mean if it’s deliberate, it’s pretty funny. Bust stop, lol. Made me think of boobies, a stop for boobies. Now I feel like I’m 10
@Harley_Robin_Evans
If you’re referring to the precinct escape, you can’t yet… I’m gonna make the chapter skip module halfway through the first chapter… which is soon…
So I was playing as the mechanic and for some reason you get a bigger cut roughly 8,500 dollars when you cut open one safe and then have the shootout then if you cut open both safesand it was a clean run and you only get 4,500 just wondering what was up with that
I liked Shotty best - I really enjoyed the customization scenes with the gun and such. Most shottys let the weapon do the talking and not polls… the loud mouths and whiny lead feet need the polls
